@ubikoality this quest hasn't been fixed yet. I might not be getting spawn killed, but it won't progress past "survive the attack". Seems pretty silly to put out two patches and still not have this fixed...

I installed the update in full on December 16. I'm not dying when Asgard returns.I've already stated that this problem is solved.when you decide to return to asgard, the game begins for your barrier. the barrier is red, not green.I killed some of the Jotuns, but there are other Jotuns far away from the barrier.I spent 2 hours pulling the jotuns into the barrier.when I get out of the barrier, you die because my energy runs out fast.I would like to point out that you have 5 life rotaion.I even used a bow and arrow to pull the Jotuns into the barrier.in short, I can't kill because all the Jotuns haven't come, and this episode doesn't end.I can't do another mission in asgard because I'm stuck for your barrier.I'm going back to England.When will this problem be solved?it hasn't been solved in a month.how can such a simple problem not be solved?

Mission. Is a waste. Finally spawn inside the shield. Instead of. Dying mid entering asgard. But the npc's. Are spawning far out of the shield not even entering just gathering. Even with the rush ability it doesn't help sad part about. This is im at max health and etc. Fix this mission for 65$ i expected things to be solid

Even after the update, this quest is still bugged for me. I’m playing on PS4, when I drink the potion I spawn inside the shield but the builder is nowhere to be seen. There also isn’t a quest marker, it just says the name of the quest with no objectives. There is nothing I can do to further the quest. I’m getting really annoyed because I left this quest weeks ago thinking I was just too low level and I put 65+ hours into the main story. Now I came back to see if I can beat it and I still can’t progress the quest. It’s ridiculous.

@gusissus2020. I can relate. I'm a lvl 400. Came back to the mission after the recent Yule festival update excited to see if it would be. Fixed nope

each time i enter asgard i die without doing anything . I had the fenir bug like a week ago, just as i thought i killed him which took what seemed ages :(((((
each time i reloaded the scene i was stuck in the fighting circle and he was somewhere outside walking around.

The only thing left to do was to reload an earlier saved scene from before i went to asgard
I stayed away from asgard for many days since the fenir bug realy was frustrating. and now i try to get back i get desynchronized at landing in asgard the sky is red as well.
I had many smaller bugs before but could work my way around those this how ever makes me feel my game is broken for good.
It make me feel i invested all my time in this game for nothing please help.

I am mid game play of defensive measures in Asgard. I have ZERO saves before starting the mission and have tried clearing my cache, doing the language thing and nothing is working. The quest will not end and i have found no way to restart it. I am already at level 343 and would hate to have to restart the game.

While playing the game Is was one of many players who got a glitched Fenrir at the Boss fight in Asgard. Thijs happend multiple times and Ik decided to leave Asgard (while the boss was glitched and I could not do a thing). 

After the patch I wanted to return to Asgard to finish the boss properly. I drank the potion, got in the loading screen and as soon as the loading was finished and I arrived in Asgard, I desyhcronized. I loaded up An other save file and tried again but without luck. I tried after turning the console off and on, but without luck either. 

defensive measures is still broken why not just remove the mission is terrible I can’t do anything in asgard

@secretking684 no yet, at least for me.... I have already completed the main story, and this quest is still pending... it's becoming quite frustrating and annoying. I cannot even count the number of times that the game has stopped in the middle of an action. Definitively not a good release for this AC. I'm starting to hate this game..

Update: Appears to be fixed with version 1.1.0.

When we expect fix for this issue?

While facing Fenrir in the Bound to Fate mission, I died and the game reloaded partway through the fight. Fenrir was on the cliffs overlooking the fight area and would not attack or come down. I ended up using the "wake up" option on the map instead of reloading a previous save. I came back to asgard later to finish the quest and instantly desynchronize. The screen has an orange tint as if the fight is still going on but I am just outside the fight area so it instant kills me.

I would reload before this area except no saves still exist since I played a few hours in england before trying to return. Trying to fast travel to a different area works but as soon as I load there I desynchronize again.

Same issue here. I'm level 400 and I've done everything else I can do in the game except actually finish it. This is so frustrating. I don't believe they'll bother to fix the issue because there's no extra money for them in it. This will be the last Assassin's Creed game I ever purchase. They clearly don't care about us, the customer.

@ubi-woofer can someone PLEASE address the Asgard desynchronization bug? I've put so many hours into this game and I can't finish it. Extremely frustrating
