@bill_provolone yeh I’ve got the same problem. The quest doesn’t progress after I’ve killed the jottnar. I also thought I’d come back later only to find my health bar ticking away so fast I’m never able to reach the shield before dying. I can’t teleport close enough. I really hope this gets fixed in a future update. I’m quite fed up with it.

I'm not sure the "Players can be killed before reaching the shield during In Dreams" bug being looked at in the mega list is the same one described by many (most?) in this thread. Most of the posts in the thread that is linked to) there (https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/82525/unable-to-complete-objective-drink-the-potion-to-return-to-asgard-in-in-dreams-post-here) seem to describe something other than:

I left the inside of the shield during Defensive Measures by clicking on "Wake Up" in the map because I was too low level.
Now (after some time and many quests perhaps) I drink the potion to return to Asgard.
On spawning into Asgard, I arrive at Heimdall's tower and am quickly killed.

Hopefully they're also looking at this one too, but it's not clear from the thread (or the support staff responses) that that's the case.

So Far no word from Ubisoft? Any idea when they will fix this? Best solution would be to enable reestarting missions.

I am here as another victim of this glitch. It started out with killing all the Ice giants and nothing happening. I even resorting to sniping the ones in the distance, no luck. And the builder won't talk to me. So I tried running outside of the force field and I start taking damage and died. I ended up fast traveling and getting stuck but didn't take damage so I exited the dream by leaving through the map function. The next day I tried returning and instantly took damage and died before being able to make it back to the force field. This quest line is literally unplayable.

Leveled up in England +70 hours
Returned to "drink potion to go to Asgard"
On loading into Asgard at Heimdall's tower, die within seconds.

Ugh I'm on level 110
went back to Asgard and every time I go back it instantly kills me I tried waking up I've tried shutting off the game going back into the game saving from another area nothing I've done every time I go back to Asgard it instantly kills me please fix

Also having this issue, played up to the part where i was defending inside the bubble but I wasn't strong enough to continue so I woke up. now trying to complete but can't as I keep dying from the "outside of bubble punishment". I think adding an abondon quest option would be a good Idea and reset the quest line to the end of the previous quest, thus allowing me to replay the defensive measures from the beginning. I don't mind replaying that part but not being able to continue at all is pretty bad.

I'm having the same exact issue on Xbox One. Please fix!

I'm stuck on Defensive Measures. When first encountering the mission, I was Level 65. Everytime I tried to protect the builder, I would die. I decided to level up and left Asgard. Now when I go back, I immediately begin to lose health when I spawn in to Heimdall's Tower, as if I'm being affected by being outside of the builder's shield. The rate at which I lose health is too fast for me to get back to the mission without dying. Can you please fix this bug?

I make sure the word spread about this on my youtubechannel on Facebook on my Facebook Games page i wrote a review and told people to not Buy this game bad review i will make sûre everybody know the Games us bugged as hell

Attempted to complete quest in Asgard Protecting the man who paints the rock to use a protection spell. Was not at a high level so left during fight sequence using wake up icon. went back after levelling up. Now arrive in Asgard at the front door being attacked and dying before being able to get back to the fight. A bug that is unable to be fixed by reloading a previous save in Asgard due to levelling up in England. 

I was somehow able to leave Asgard through the "wake up" function during the "Defensive Measures" mission (I was in the middle of the attack). I was unaware at the time that this shouldn't be possible, but I was very underpowered for that mission at the time. I logged about 20+ hours after that point. When I tried to return to Asgard, I die almost instantly. I see white flashes around my character, which saps my health and I die within 10 seconds. Is there any way to fix this outside of returning to the checkpoint when I left Asgard originally? I wouldn't even mind if Asgard was just completely reset from scratch, but I won't go back to make up 20+ hours of outside gameplay...

Hello Ubisoft, I encountered a huge bug in Asgard in the builder quest "Defensive Measures", I started the quest but I was not level 90 so I left asgard.
Coming back for the end by appearing in Asgard I take endless green damage without being able to do anything. This bug is killing my gaming experience.
Can you help us? I'm really not the only one impacted by this horrible bug.

Checking in after this happened to me not long after release, about done with the story line (on the last territory). I am really enjoying the game so far, when you first went to Asgard I was blown away, really bummed a month later I still can't progress on this storyline.

Same is happening to me what do I do ??!!

Why aren't they doing anything about this? We've had this issue as well and I CANNOT BELIEVE the dates on these posts. How is this still happening? He has about done EVERYTHING ELSE in the game without even playing the most 'valhalla' part of it. It feels like a rip off and if something doesn't happen with it soon he's going to want his money back.
