the builder quest in Asgard was too high of a level for me to complete at the time i went into Asgard so while in the middle of doing the quest i woke up because i kept failing the quest. Now when I try to return im in this endless death loop across the map where u wake up at. please just tell me how to delete my progress in asgard, I have already put in so much time into the rest of the game it would not be worth restarting everything for the asgard missions.

I have a similar issue. Reading a ton of Reddit threads, there are a ton of people on all platforms that are having issues with this quest.

Im having same trouble , thought it was only me having it !!

I went to asgard and I was to under powered but i made it to the Defensive measures quest and when i went put and back in i kept taking infint damage and i can not make ot back. I have lost the save before that because i keep geting data croupt so i cant go back I nee to know of there is any help because I can to progress without it

I have precisely the same problem on xbox one x - left Asgard during the quest, game thinks quest is still active, so returning to asgard causes me to die after a few seconds as I am no longer within the shield.

Would be great to see this fixed, as it's game breaking!

@pulserevolution If the thing that kills you are the green flashy light pulse things then I have this same problem.

I have left a quest mission in asgard called defensive measures and woke up as I was a low rank now evertime I return to asgard the game kills me instantly it don't let me fast travel to to mission location and I can't progress in the game any further

I left during quest defensive measures in azgurd and woke up now when I returned I instantly get killed and can't fast travel to quest location

I was on defensive mesure mission in Asgard ennemy was spawning forever and i wasnt strong enough si i woke Up telling myself i Will Grind and come-back but when i come back im outside the freaking shield i Receive damage per sec and Die. This problem is on all Platform as i See . Im playing on xbox one and NO i dont have save game before . This Game is broken cannot finish IT until you fix this or give me a reset the whole quest button .. this has Been reported to you multiple times since Day one no action Taken yet. I ve Read the first threat and you dont mention IT AGAIN 2 Weeks later dont Tell me you dont know whats going on. You know... Soooo patch IT asap because this problem was reported since Day one.

@ubi-spud Hello, I did the same as the OP and now have the same issue with the quest Defensive Measures during the Survive the attack objective, where I'd be throwing away hours of gameplay if I were to load a proper save before I started this specific quest in Asgard. I have this bug whether I play on PS4 or on PS5 (video links below).

Using the faster loading times with PS5, it's possible to [painstakingly] manage to get back to the "bubble" from the fast travel point in Asgard through choosing the option Reload Latest Save, dying repeatedly, and saving rations & adrenaline bars to utilize the Blinding Rush ability once close enough to the bubble where the Jotun are actively attacking Eivor.

However, once I make it to the bubble, I have the same issue as when I originally attempted the quest objective at a lower power level, where I survive the Jotun attack but the enemies either (1) stop spawning or (2) spawn but stay/patrol far outside the bubble.

Normally, being outside the bubble during this stage of the quest kills the player almost instantly. However, while I still cannot trigger the quest Defensive Measures "Survive the attack" objective to complete, I can get my character to no longer receive any damage while outside the bubble in Asgard, allowing me to complete wealth and mystery nodes throughout Asgard--in addition to killing every last Jotun I happen across in hopes that it would trigger the quest objective... In short, I can 100% "survive the attack" but the quest will never actually proceed.

How to 100% "survive the attack":

1. After defeating all enemies that you can once back within the bubble, save the game.
2. Go into settings, then download & switch to any other voiceover language pack (for ex, I switched over to French from English). The game will reload once the changes are applied. 
3. Quickly press start and fast travel somewhere within Asgard. 
4. Enjoy "surviving" outside the bubble!

Videos on the bugs/glitches and how to out-glitch them:

Hope this gets fixed soon! In the meantime, at least this method gives us a way to complete any side nodes in Asgard while the bug is being worked on.

@warpav20-tv The same happened for me (door not closing during the initial Asgard quest). For that, I reloaded an earlier save and was able to get that part to trigger correctly.

Is it that you're receiving damage whenever in Asgard? It seems Ubisoft is aware that there are bugs with the Defensive Measures quest. I shared a way to get it where Eivor no longer takes passive damage from roaming around Asgard but be forewarned that you'll take damage when loading the game again after turning the system off (found that out the hard way today...): https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/79956/quest-defensive-measures-bug?lang=en-US
