I have the same issue like in this video: (the video is not mine, but same bug here):

When trying to get one of the Ymir's blood stones, I cant do it because a key I needed to unlock the chest is floating in mid air and it's not possible for me to get it. What should I do about this? It's quite close to Leyna falls and I need to collect 2 keys for the chest, the first by shooting a crate down and the key will appear on the ground (which is the problem) and the other where you need to shoot another crate down and you'll be able to go inside the log tower to get the key and then go inside the mine to open the chest.

@assassinz-98 Same, just sits there floating in the air, tried save and reload, tried fast traveling, cant get the key and cant finish the area.

Located in the southwest, this is one of the 'Abandoned Mine' keys for the chest nearby.

This appears to be PC-only since I've seen PS recordings of people completing all the wealth locations in Jotunheim.
When the crate is destroyed the key does not drop to the ground with it, and it can't be picked up mid-air because you have to hold the button for too long to loot while falling.

Prevents collection of all the ymir blood stones.

I have the same issue on Xbox One

I am unable to get the last key for my last Wealthy treasure in Jotunheim, the key was supposed to drop on the ground after breaking some woods but it keeps flotting, trying dropping from the wooden crane to catch it while falling but I couldn't.. I attached some pictures to show it where it is.

BTW, there should be 2 keys, only has this one in the image.

So for this wealth you have to shoot down two different crates being held up by cranes. They are supposed to fall down with a key inside of them. However, when I try to shoot them down they fall but the key stays floating in the air and I am unable to get one of the two. It is the last wealth I need to make the offering and now I feel like I’ve wasted a whole bunch of my time since I cannot get this last one

same problem -.- good thing it was the 3rd wealth im trying to get. im done with this area till they fix that -.- lost all fun for that area and heading back to england -.- im going for 100 % if i cant do that in that area its really really really frustrating. -.-

I beat the arc story for jotunnheim. I going around and collecting the wealth and there is the 1 in the abandoned mine which requires 2 keys ive got 1 but the other its on a crane but when i shoot it to knock the key down. The key stays up in the air any way around it or do i have to wait for a fix. Im trying to clear every area

I'm having this very same issue on PC. I've googled this issue and it seems to date back to beta testing, so the question is why the **** is this still happening after the release? Well guess it's back to England. Not playing a map if I can't get 100% on it because of a stupid bug.
Also on a sidenote. Any of you get this "drunk" bug after just entering Jotunheim or loading a save? Pretty annoying as well.

In jotunheim when you shoot the crate down the key remains floating in midair you need this key to open a chest, it requires you to hold triangle so it cannot be collected.

Yes, any time I went back to Jotunheim I was drunk. Best to meditate it off, but I won't be going back until a PC patch is released.

@erdosifazy I have the same problem. Playing on my pc. And can´t get the key. Anyone have a solution for this?

This is a visual bug, the key is not at the place you are looking at, the key is located under the opposite side crane.

So climb the crane that has the visual key bug, look straight and you will find another crane that you can shoot (use your eagle vision), shoot the other crane and it will fell and break, from there loot the key.

you need two keys for the crate, so it is no visual bug. pls ubisoft fix this

Good luck at ever having this bug fixed. Apparently it's been in the game since Beta and they've been too lazy to fix it. This game is about to hit the trash. Nothing but bugs that they don't fix. But look they added a new background. Thats so awesome. I hopped on the game hoping maybe they fixed it with the patch, but nope. They did however add more bugs. Good job guys.

Yeah, you need 2 keys. I have the one you collect from climbing the crane to shoot down the other.
But the other key is stuck in mid air.
If this is a very old bug I will skip it.
Annoying since I have collected all the other chests.

The bug still exists with 1.0.4 patch, I've just checked
