Same quest, different bug. NPC never spawned for me. Didn't realise there was meant to be an NPC until too late to load a save. Tried travelling in and out, mediating, coming back later, restarting, coming back several real days later to play again. Nothing changes, never spawns.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello there!
As we have had no further reports of this issue persisting in-game following the release of TU 1.2.0, we will now be locking this thread.

Thanks!
Hi, so im stuck at this mystery due to pushing the boxes around before the npc spawned now i cant move one of them due to it being displaced by the jars.

The first box you move? In my game, the NPC is spawned but the box is stuck at a spot where there isnt enough room to walk by it and cant move it at all so I cannot complete this mystery regardless of the jars. Fast traveling, restarting the game or console, nothing works. The boxes do not reset anywhere in the world. Seen them on top of other breakables at various locations in the same spots i moved them to after the breakables respawned...
@pfroddam breaking the jars does drop the boxes but they are still immovable.
@prophecy313 second box from entry. tried everything my self.. only fix would be a reset of the boxes
I am having the same issues. no spawn, unable to move boxes. fast traveling does not fix.
Same here, and can't load a old save, already spend a day for doing Lunden, dont want to be bored of this game for doing again all the quest.
In lunden a mystery by the waterfront has shelves you have to move around a breakable pots, the person I'm supposed to talk to to get the quest never spawned anywhere so that I can clear a path for him out of the warehouse
i have the same issue. Lunden can´t be completed. Please add a reset to these objects at this location.
I have a different issue. In my game, I messed up a bit by breaking a few oil jars. I reloaded from the previous save, but the npc dissappeared on me in all saves (even ones, where I never met the guy). Now I cannot complete the quest as even with the path cleared, no completion is granted. Unlike other mysteries, this one does not seem to reset. Please make the location reset so everyone can complete it.
Thanky,
So this is so far the worst aspect of this game. I like to explore a lot before i go doing story missions. So i find a place with gear treasure, spending hours searching some god damn entrance into the room with the grear with no luck. And when i finally lose my patience, i google it just to learn that i have to do certain story mission to be able to get there. And it's not the only case. There are some events i cannot complete because i didn't progress enough also. Jesus, if i cannot do it before some story mission, just don't put that stuff in the world and put it there after i can actually do it. This is [censored] me off to no end. I hate puzzles in the first place, because it's such a waste of time and pace breaker and they are just frustration for me and this on top of that.
Please, do something about it.
For example mystery called The Demon Odour at the Tithe i cannot do because the NPC is missing because i didn't progress enough in the story. I free-roamed to that place. I wasn't led there by story. But since i didn't know that, i was wondering for hours what am i missing that there is nothing going on. Yet the mystery mark is there. CHANGE IT! Seriously! So that we won't have to waste our time for nothing. Just remove the mystery icon until i'll be able to actually do it.
I had the same issue and solved it by pushing the box in the corner near the other double box then putting 3 bodys around the box sides except the side where it should fall and then fast traveled until the box sit on one of the jars. I destroyed the jars and the crate on the side where the box belongs. At last i destoyed the Jar below the box and the box glitched were ist should be, wich made completed mysterie. I needed to fast travel a few time to make it work, but i hope u can do it the same way.
@killermarcei Hi. i would like to thank you for this fix. but it didnt exactly work. well not the way you fixed yours.. i threw a corpse on the box to place it and the box moved so i could push the boxes by throwing corpses at it, so threw a corpse on it until it did slide back into its spot!
