Unable to access any saved games or start a new game

As of last night I am unable to access any of my saved games in Valhalla on Xbox One (40 hrs of gameplay in), or begin a new game. I have tried local and cloud saves, manual and autosaves. It goes through its loading sequences, fills the white bar to almost full and then reverts to the XBox Main Menu. I have tried unplugging the Xbox and plugging it back in for the full shutdown and still no fix. When starting a new game the intro sequence has choppy errors, then it exits to the Xbox Main Menu after showing the child's loading screen.
Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions? I would rather not have to uninstall and reinstall. -
have same issue on ps5. have done reinstall and even reset system does not work

Twice I have had my saved games disappear. I submit a ticket with Ubi and they just close the ticket without any feedback or resolution. Just outstanding!
