Cannot progress with "The Needle"

- After killing The Needle with the throwing axe ability his body disappeared. I hunted around and it's like he fell through to the cavern below where the money is being melted. I can see him stuck to the ceiling of the area below where he was killed. I tried to climb the wall to get to him so I could confirm the kill but he is unreachable.
- This first occurred when I went to assassinate him, I went back several times to see if it would reset or fix itself post update but it is still hung.
- I am playing the PS4 version, I have screenshots but I'm not sure how to get them off the playstation.
