Hey guys, I stumbled upon a new presumably bug ingame: after buying the Asgard ship design a few days ago, I turned in a hunting supply request at the hunters hut which rewarded me with a ship design - the same Asgard shields I've been able to buy at the trader. Now I have a duplicate set of Asgard shields at the shipyard.
Don't know if this is intended or a bug but feels like there is no point in turning in that hunting item request if the reward is already elsewhere in the game!

Anyone else got that double?

Just like the Armors, the Asgardian Ship Cosmetics have started to clone themselves in my Inventory.

I have two copies of the hull, shields, and tail for the ship cosmetics. The first copy I bought from a trader with silver back in the beginning of the game, the second copy came as a reward for the fish deliveries. I also have two copies of Odin's mark head tattoo. I'm worried that those duplicate rewards were given in place of some other unique reward that we now can't acquire anymore. I just hope Ubisoft can track those things and delete the copy while giving the player the proper rewards.

The Odin's Mark Tattoo (Head) duplicate was removed and replaced by the Valhalla Blessing Tattoo (Head). I hope they manage to do the same with the Asgardian Ship Cosmetics as well.

So i turned in fish at the hut and got the asgard hull schematic. i now have 2 of these for i had already bought it from the merchant. so with that said r the rewards from the huts just another way to get the items the merchant has or did my game glitch?

I think the best thing to do right now with the duplicate issue... is to not buy anything from the merchant store, except for consumables, arrows, ingots etc and handing in hunting/fishing deliveries till it's finally fixed in a patch.. I'm also avoiding flying papers just to be on the safe side so far i've had no issues.

Why is it that I can buy the Asgardian ship skins from Yanli but I can also get them from the little fish kid by exchanging fish? What's the point of completing all the fishing deliverables if I can just buy them from a shop?

It resulted in a duplicate Asgardian option when customizing my ship and it's annoying. Will this be fixed when all the other duplicates get patched too?

edit: pretty sure it came from the fishing hut and not the hunters hut, I'm sorry. Still seeing 4 more ship designs as reward and if these are Asgard set too, that would make a lot of sense to me..

I just found out that as well. It seems also related to the fishing rewards.

Personally, I don't think it is a bug but another design oversight. Ubisoft, please could you look into it?

The Asgardian cosmetics duplicated for me as well, probably due to the fishing rewards.

Ubisoft, please check, and make sure the duplicate armor glitch is fixed as well. Post patch 1.04 it still occurs. Please just allow the game to remove any duplicated items in the Inventory and the cosmetics in the settlement.

Did further testing and turning in items at the fishing hut gives you the same Asgard set that you can get from the trader too! doesn't make any sense to me. Spent an hour only to get a duplicate item...

@Ubi-Woofer @Ubi-Baron sorry for directly tagging you but any chance this will be looked at? Whole Asgard set is available to buy from the trader and as a reward from the fishing hut, don't think this is intended.

@ubi-woofer Just to say thank you for acknowledging this because I am facing the same issue in the game.

I play on Xbox One, and yes there is a high possibility it is tied to the reward(s) from the fishing store.

thank you for your answer! Won't tag you any longer just kinda got afraid my post has been unnoticed as its beta here and (at least for me) a little bit confusing. But I can understand you guys are very busy atm and doing your best to fix this wonderful game

Has Ubisoft acknowledged it yet?

I got x2 of the following Asgard schemes to ship cosmetics:
-Asgard Scheme (Hull)
-Asgard Scheme (Figureshead)
-Asgard Scheme (Shield)

When I go to the shipyard, I see them in duplicate as shown in the image.

The reason why I get two versions is because I get
1) Available to buy for silver in the shop.
2) Awarded completing task in the Fishing Hut.

Same here (Xbox One). Yet, this in my opinion is not a glitch/bug, but a design oversight.

Oh and the Asgard scheme seems to be double for all 5 customisable areas of the long ship.

This issue was reported several times already but no response from Ubisoft yet.

Yeah, it's for all the customisation. Probably design oversight, it would be nice if Ubisoft give an official answer.
