How many threads/posts does it take for you guys to take us seriously? At leas acknowledge you're looking into it... Sheesh.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Well in all fairness - you shouldn't include every single post where someone says "While riding along the east road in east anglia I get a crash", "When performing a barrel roll with my Ravin it crashes" or "Every time I press Alt + F4 the game suddenly stoppes" (you get it) without investigating and trying to confirm or at least find out what the cause is.
Is it ACV related or does the user in this particular instance have background software running that just kills the hardware and results in a system crash? Is it actually a real crash or just some freak coincidence not related to ACV?
So I would say, without having read all crash reports on this forum, reddit, youtube etc. that for it to be acknowledged as a known issue takes more than one user stating that something happened (which I also think it should).
@aloninor going to have to agree with this op. i suffer from the "defensive measures" quest bug that basically prevents me from entering asgard, its something that has tonnes of threads and many people have complained about and its even been acknowledged by staff. yet its in neither the "know issues" or "megathread" threads. this is one example but ive seen plenty others not mentioned that are game breaking bugs.
I have to agree. I haven't had any game killing bugs, but they have not even acknowledged the opal bugs. I realize they are not super important and probably low on the list of things to get fixed, but acknowledge that they exist.
They didn't include any gameplay bugs at all besides ones related to quests or progression the last time I checked. However, they did fix the bow aiming issue which was the most major gameplay issue before patch without ever adding it to the known bugs, and also fixed NPCs getting stuck inside of wealth chests and some other issues. I wouldn't take it as a comprehensive list. I reported a lot of bugs with video examples and all of them were fixed without being added to the last as far as I know, short of the weird glitch I had with the missile reversal animation being stuck.
Uplay big fail on this game... maybe my last in assassins creed series. Bugs all over and game crashes like crazy. Worst one yet. Anyone that has not bought the game yet, save your money.
@valtyrnine
This!
While I currently, apart from 1-2 Opals that couldn't be looted and 1 crash, haven't noticed a single bug in ~70h playtime, I think this is the way to handle this.
If you find a bug, document it if possible - e.g. by providing video footage. If you can recreate the bug, and if not it seems to be a one time occurrence, send Ubisoft support a short video clip of it. This takes like 2minutes and actually gives them some undeniable footage which is so much more than just a verbal complaint wrapped in a rant without any documentation whatsoever.
And as valtyrnine states, just because it isn't on the list, it doesn't mean that it is not being fixed.
@aloninor with the amount of bugs i personally have come passed, both minor and major issues, i would be sending video reports once a day and that is if i exclude it crashing randomly at any point of gameplay (usually every 1-2 hours for myself). its not my job to be a game tester and send these guys every bug i come across. I want to enjoy this game because i love AC but it is incredibly hard to grit my teeth at the amount of bugs scattered throughout the world. even harder when youre waiting on developers who are overloaded with the amount of issues they have to fix in their game to fix youre one game breaking bug.
@skill_u101
Can you give like a hand full of bugs you often encounter? I am really surprised about how people describe the game, in terms of bug density, compared to my own (nearly) complete bug free experience.
No of course you are not the game tester. But helping Ubi with at least some information about what bugs you encounter might help them identify and resolve the problems Maybe my point is just that so many people are just venting/ranting without being constructive, and this "simply complaining" is neither helping Ubisoft identify/resolve bugs and therefore doesn't help the players to have a better experience.
So criticism and feedback is always good - I would just like to see more of it being constructive instead of just rants. But that's just my opinion...
@aloninor My biggest one is "Defensive Measures" as i said previously before in another post on this thread which has barred me from all the asgard and jotun arc.
several times ive had npcs not move from one location too the next in main story arcs. possibly preventing further progression. but luckily i had some early signs that i might be frequently reloading saves to save myself from such examples.
several mystery quests have bugged out and i cant progress with.
im not lying when i said every 1-2 hours my game was crashing. whether it be talking to someone, running up a wall, middle of combat or anything it would crash. ive played just short of a 100 hours and dont doubt its crashed at least 200 times on me.
general gameplay bugs as well. arrows stuck in my hand from powder trap, getting trapped in some corner on a table completely frozen and having to fast travel to free myself.
if you want exact missions and such i can probably remember a couple exact details if you wanted those as well.
@skill_u101
No don't need anymore details - just wanted to get a glimpse of how bad it can be.
Conclusion: very bad...
This sounds quite extreme and I hope that your situation is an extreme case. I can definitely better understand now why you can't provide videos to all of these and I feel quite lucky that I don't have to deal with these issues (lucky draw?).
Fingers crossed that, especially, bugs that completely halt progression are fixed asap.
@aloninor thats it mate. im playing on the ps4 which can be a bit more prone to bugs but its still a brutally overwhelming amount for myself and a lot of others. seems to be up to a higher power at who gets a clean game or a terrible game.
i love am doing my best lo love this game despite all the flaws ive come across it, but fear ubisoft might be in for a big hit if Cyberpunk comes out in a weeks time and hits the ball out of the park, considering how their first month of release has gone for them.
Version 1.0.2 ran smooth for me. However when UBISOFT implemented patch 1.0.4 performance issues started. My game has crashed several times and I have experienced random game freezes. I agree this performance issue needs to be looked into.
@chadheilig agreed, I've had the save corrupt bug 3 times and always when I hit level 300, I'm on my fourth playthrough and I'm loosing interest, 110 euro wasted. And ubisoft give zero fk's
I would love to have a crash sometime or a minor bug in a specific mission. For me, I can't even play the game anymore since I can't save the game. I can play for hours and when I die I get spawned back to where I belonged 3-4 hours ago and have to do everything once again until I die the next time and get thrown back from the start again. and so it continues..
@aloninor no rants here bro,plain facts,the game crashed 9 times already on the base ps4,sometimes randomly,sometimes during an event. so yes the game is released without actually testing to the max:)
@xalle79 thats terrible,try to play the mission: ''pricking the needle,assasinate the needle'' its impossible. i couldnt progress further with the game! so im in the beginning now,i was level 232.
@guest-optbogsn
Well - then don't feel addressed ; ) My point was more addressing comments such as the OP's comment which has absolutely no content besides complaints : )
Well lets hope that the PS4 version becomes more stable in future updates bro : D
I was "Blue Screened" three times yesterday and also wasn't able to fast travel, Save game, or travel outside of the mission area. @anolinmcginnis
