I have a bug too. I cannot report back to Stowe and Erke. I have done everything else but when I return to the governors villa, they are not there. Any ideas??

Im on the part of the quest that says to returen to Stowe and Erke, but there is no marker on the map and they arent at the location they're supposed to be. I can not progress further in the Lunden arc because of this. Seen People say that reloading a save before pledging to Lunden might help but the only save i have before is more than 10 hours of play time back.

@ubi-spud I also investigated the temple. And am told to find stowe and erke, but I don't have any icon. And even when I go to the governor's villa nothing happens.

Am trying to get back to Stove and Erika, but the marker has disappeared, and no cut scene plays when I reach the villa.

Please help.

After obtaining information from temple of Mithras, no quest marker appears and no NPCs are present at the governors villa. The image of the blue guard hanging from the ceiling is still there. A quick Google search shows others are having this exact same issue.

There is still no quest marker and no NPCs to return to after finding clues about the Ancient Ones. Such as good game but so many game breaking bugs. Cannot progress Lunden Story Arc. Please fix this. This bug is not even mentioned in the known issues thread.

Same issue here. Walls and Shadows of Lunden Arc bug, no quest marker for "Return to Stowe and Erke". Playing on PC with patch 1.0.4

this game is the most worse game i ever bought i payed 109 euro for it for playstation and the game do gives me more frustration than fun 1 bug and glitch after a other now after 75 hours of playing i get stuck on the level shadows on the wall and the game did save itself automatically so now i do get stuck here can't move and the only thing is left is starting from 0 again for the third time i had to start over again with the asgard bug and now i have to do it again from all the assassins game i did played is this the most horrible game and not worth its money

Same issue on PS4. While leaving the temple after investigating my game crashed which led to the disappearance of the quest marker and active quest info in the top left corner even when selected. No cut scene triggers when I return to the villa. I’ve put 20+ hours in after encountering this bug so restarting isn’t an option.

Pledged to Lunden and made it to the “Return to Stowe and Erke” part of the Walls and Shadows quest. I’ve gone back to the villa to find the main room empty - the characters aren’t there at all. There’s no quest indicator on the map. I tried reloading to no avail. Tried doing different quests and returning to no avail. And I’ve played too much to start over and can’t find a previous save within the last hour or two of play where the quest works.

Tl;dr I can’t play the game any further until this bug is fixed.

I have played every Assassin’s Creed title on launch day and this is the first time I’ve encountered a game-breaking bug. In the quest “Walls and Shadows” you are told at the end of the quest to Return to Stowe and Erke. I’ve watched YouTube videos showing where these two are supposed to spawn in the Governor’s Villa, but when I go there no dice. No Stowe and Erke and no quest objective marker. This is very frustrating as I cannot finish the quest and/or complete the game. Reloading old saves does not work and I refuse to redo 50 hrs worth of work. Please fix this Ubisoft. I’ve seen many others awaiting this patch as well.

@devetisbambedis I'm having the same issue. Mostly annoyed that it isn't even on their known issues list. There are so many posts on the forum about this and i've also written to the support chat.

Feels so bad to go and do Lunden like last. Its a 90 power zone and im up to 370 now just waiting for them to fix this.

I have the exact same problem. I have no quest marker for the "walls and shadows"-quest and when i return to the Governor's villa nothing happens. I have seen on youtube that a event should spawn, but the villa i just empty
I have had this problem for a couple of days now and pledged for other areas while waiting for a bugfix. But now i have nothing more i can play and i have to progress in Lunden to progress.

This is a game-breaking bug (i can't complete/finish the game) and something that the developers need to look into and fix.

@kwashiorkor2000 I’m starting to fear it’ll never be fixed as I can see our problem is being ignored by them

I cant talk to Stowe after I finished the temple of mithras, hes just idle in the church.

@ubi-woofer Hey Dude, how do we send the video in? I'm not sure how to record my actual gameplay, so if I filmed on mobile or something similar would that work? I mean, I could also send you a shot of the quest activated by no icon appearing on the map or the compass marker at the top.

I'm playing on XBOX as an FYI and man this is frustrating. If you shell out just under £100 for a game, you kinda hope you're able to play it.
