Day and night cycle too short?

Not entirely sure if this has been covered so I'm sorry if it has. I've been playing a bit of Origins lately (until the screen tearing in Valhalla has been fixed) and I've noticed how longer the day and night cycle is. It might be just me but It feels better in Origins. I would of preferred a similar day and night cycle to Origins tbh.

this seems to be a common occurrence in games now, day night cycle moving way to fast. normally the first thing I mod out. I find myself wanting to do a solo stealth night time raid, however half way through, its day time again. sigh
