I completed the clues and riddles quest on xbox series x...since then my cloaks armor appearance and disguise appearance is stuck as the one given during the quest (with the dear head) was hoping after patch 1.0.4 this would disappear...unfortunately no matter what i do (change actual armor piece...take visual on and off...put disguise on and off...nothing will change my appearance...was this something you were aware of and was supposedly fixed of a different issue?

Solution to Mari lwyd cloak/mask bug. Kind of.

Hey guys. There is a way to avoid this bug. I just replayed the Glowecetrescire story arc and was able to remove that stupid cloak after completion.

After you receive the cloak in the mission "The last night of ..." do not fast travel outside Glowecestrescire and do not remove the cloak, just play the whole story arc all the way thru in one swoop with the Mari lwyd cloak on. After completing "The Burning Wicker of the Wicker Man" then fast travel to Ravensthorp and report to Randvi. Then quick equip/unequip the cloak and it should be gone. Actually I did not fast travel or reloaded the game thru the whole Glowecestrescire story arc and I was able to remove the cloak for good after reporting to Randvi. I think if you remove the cloak before completing the story arc the game will give you the cloak during story arc mission and only remove one at the end so you will be stack with a spare one.

Men it s not a solution... The solution is to be fixed by the lazy boys who made that game, why is it I wd have to do such things you describe to make something work when it shd be working already ????????

Yooo I fixed it if you fast travel to your sentamental and as soon as you load in put up your hood (put hood down before fast travel)

This is the only way iv found out how to fix it good luck

Like the title says, going on 13 days stuck with this cloak and was hoping that it would be fixed with this latest patch but low and behold nope still here, now have to wait god knows how long till the next patch till this gets fixed smh

@fractal009 This bug is easily fixed. Just remove all the gear that you had when you got the bug. Then put on DIFFERENT gear. Then put your original gear back on, and poof, the issue goes away. In the grand scheme of bugs, in a game, this is very minor.

@dduttonnc tried it, didn't work, still stuck with the ugly horse skull. Also who made you the arbiter of what's important and what isn't?

@dduttonnc I spent a few hours testing everything. Stop being cocky because you were lucky.
Just surf a little on the web and you'll see we are legion to have the problem.
Seriously do you really think we didnt try your solution ? I tried some things you even couldn't imagine

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!! If you want to get rid of this issue, try following @KnockedGorgon49's advice. This worked for me. It was to go to the war room table, see the alliance map, spam 'A' or 'X' on Gloucestershire, leave the table and room, and then IMMEDIATELY put the cloak on outside of the room. If done correctly, this *should* have the issue fixed. I am seeing that this has been working with a bunch of people and I hope to spread the word so no one is so mad at this as much as I was. Oh and Ubisoft, please fix this generally small but annoying issue...

Check to see is you have a "cloud save" for that saga i fixed my glitch but then saw that it may help im not sure

Hi so I managed to fix mine! I hid all gear, travelled back to Ravensthorpe and unhid all my gear (including helmet) when I did this my personal cloak hid itself automatically and I just had to turn it back on. Hope this helps! I am on PS4

I'm in the same boat. It's making me go mental. Completely ruined my immersion in the game. I really hope it's going to get fixed and QUICKLY. I can't stay with this cloak for another minute. So for now i'm forced to just not play the game.

I also have this bug. Completed the entire story arc without leaving the area. None of the posted "fixes" worked for me.
