@headbanger866 Hi there! Please let me know if the disguise remains on Eivor after leaving the Glowecestrescire region, since this should resolve the issue you're facing.

@headbanger866 Okay, thanks for the quick reply! Would it be possible to request video footage of this please? Once received, I can share the footage with our teams, so we can re-open this issue.

every time I go to Glowecestrescire and use my hood, my hood turns into a different hood with a skull mask and it won’t fix unless I load an earlier save game. This happens every time I enter Glowecestrescire and use my cloak.

@konata10101 I can confirm that the Mari Lwyd hood and cloak is equipped by default when you enter the Glowecestrescire region, this is working as intended and is not a bug, however it should then be removed when you leave the region and return back to the hood and cloak that is equipped in your inventory.

Please note if you leave the region with the hood up you would need to remove the hood and put it back on for it to refer back to the hood and cloak that is equipped in your inventory.

If this is not working in this way and the hood and cloak is still visible after leaving the Glowecestrescire region then please let us know and also provide a video.

Hey there! I'm sorry you experienced this issue with your cloak.

This has since been resolved, but if you're still having trouble, try this workaround:

Go to a restricted city/town and raise hood, then put it down and remove your cloak. then put it back on.

So here we are just a few days away from the highly anticipated Wrath of the Druid’s DLC drop in the wake of patch 1.1.2 and somehow Meri Lewd continues to act as a thorn in my a$$ when I least expect it. Unfortunately now when the bug trips it also causes my pimped out ship skins to revert back to the very first stock Raven Clan ship gear that you initially start with at the beginning of the game as well.

From there I t takes me hours of title jumping, reverting games saves, and trips to Norway before I can FINALLY return to my settlement without wearing this ridiculous ensemble atop my ridiculously expensive 2000 H.C. armor pack that I somehow just realized is the exact same as my other ridiculous armor set except with a splash of white and less blood stains.... 🤬😡

Alas, I am relieved to say that I have finally found a solution that works for me any time this debacle pops up and its pretty darned simple. If anyone else is still having this occur once in a blue moon still after visiting Glowecesrescire give this a shot and see if it cures what ails you.

Fast Travel back to the settlement (make sure you don’t use the ship method, it seems to make a difference I’ve found.) Once you’ve loaded the game go into the menu and press the thumb stick to hide all of your equipment except for the main armor set. Once you’ve done that simply equip either Bayeks or Altair’s armor set, exit the menu, open the quick action wheel, select the Quick Save option, then simply reload the game and that should be the end of your Meri Lewd troubles.

@norcalbandits13 I finished main story. I always go to Glowestercire to do the weekly challenges as theres lots of enemies in town,a lot of patrols coming and northwest there's a big bandit fortress.
There's millions of sheeps too on the way to the bandit fortress if you prefer killing animals and the town is really full of civilians to knock down if you rather doing this. I prefer doing it with enemies though as give me something to do while waiting for the DLC.
I never equip the hood there and thankfully Eivor doesn't say "better go hooded here" at Glowestercire anymore.
But when I encountered this issue in the past I just fast travelled to any other region of the map . Selected the hood on the wheel and immediately got rid of that horrible cape.
    Hope this helps.

    Hello there,

Thanks for sharing your experiences with the Mari Lywd cloak with us, @norcalbandits13 and @Garbo3.

I'm sorry to hear that your skip cosmetics reset whenever the Mari Lywd cloak is equipped for you, @norcalbandits13. Would you be able to start a new thread with a video that shows this issue happening in-game? We can then take a closer look at this separately to the investigation discussed in this thread.

Please note that you will keep the Mari Lywd cloak on whilst in Glowecestrescire, as it's part of the disguise for this region. You should be able to toggle if the skull mask is on or not by having your hood up or down, though. Once you leave Glowecestrescire, the cape should be removed and your usual attire should be visible again.

    Thanks 😊

Halloween costume (cloak) can not be took off after the quest.

Hide function for costume doesn't work any more.

@luoluojiu123 Apologies for the late response.

You should be able to remove the Mari Lwyd cloak when you leave the Glowecestrescire region. To do this equip the cloak you wish to use then put your hood up in game then remove it again, this will switch it over to the cloak you currently have equipped. However as soon as your return to the Glowecestrescire region it will automatically be equipped again. The development team have confirmed this is working as intended by design.

If this does not work can you please provide a video and I will forward it onto the development team to investigate.

Fast traveled to Glowecestrescire well after completing the wicker man quest there. Cloak switches to the special Halloween cloak, but when I fast back to anywhere else in England, I'm stuck with the Halloween cloak. Going to Ireland, or a raid will set my cloak back to normal. But as soon as I'm back in England the Halloween hood takes over.

    Hello there @samuel-kille348!

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered trouble with the Mari Lywd cloak. Thanks for taking the time to share your report with us.

If you're unable to remove the cape once you've left Glowecestrescire, please can you send us a video that shows you're unable to remove the cloak once you've left the region? I'd recommend uploading the video to a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, as this will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread. We can then take a closer look at this.

    Thanks! 😊
