Main story is 'done', Order is impossible to finish (where is the last clue?), some wealth I need keys on some places where there is no key icon showing when looking on said place, I have enough of the Valka quests and so maybe will finish on next DLC. I hate to do the lame Reda quests, I did not like them either in Origins and mostly ignored him. I do not want to wander around looking for the last artefacts that give zero stuff I want. Also there is nothing left but Reda quests to repeat daily, so just waiting now for DLC and hope that on that point also the bugs are fixed. But was not satisfied on how the game ended, was really hoping for some big final fight and kill the father in the end.

Please Ubi, next time delay your games. Learn from the fails like Unity and Valhalla, where Valhalla was the worst in gameplay bugs. Lot of time lost on rebooting the game to hope continue playing, sometimes it worked and mostly it failed. The pre-order and special edition missions where to short to have value, and also add nothing special to the game.

Next release will be a longer thought if I would even buy it. A long time fan, playing from first to current and even side games like Liberation and Bloodlines, will probably quit with this series. If only a game would be out with the real assassin's in the robes they have and in a fitting time, I would continue. Now the games are to far off, starting from Black Flag, where Assassin's are just a side dish. Unity was already a step back, and Syndicate had a nice teaser and I am still sad nothing was done with that. Origins I could understand to tell the backstory of the Creed, Odyssey was a nice filler and felt like it had nothing much to do with anything on Creed and Assassin's if not only for that one DLC. But Valhalla is again a side dish for Assassin's and I would love to go back on puzzling out who the order member is by doing quests towards that point. To kil them off one by one in different cities, until you get to the final boss. Not like how it is now, with finding clues on random locations and kill them easy, unless they where quest bound of course.

I do not say go back to AC2, that time has past, I love the open world and explore places. Dive in the history, meet people from that time period, all that I missed in Valhalla. Exploring was just mostly mountain and grass, some ruins and lots of snow. I loved the look of Vinland, with the culture and hope to see more of it. Asgard feels like a total random add, maybe need to play the final quest for it to understand why it was add, but felt more like a time filler instead. Some quest lines where really short, more so near the end. I enjoyed most of the mystery quests, would now even want to go do cairns in real life. But the tattoos you do not see under the armour, the Romanian masks also gave not much I would use, treasure maps are also not giving much and what is the purpose of the cursed land?

Like I said, I will now wait for the DLC, keep an eye on the patches just to see if it is possible to complete the order kills. I still feel like missing a big part of the game.

And maybe give it a thought to do something with Amulet as a side game. 🙂

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

They did delay it several months; after Ghost Recon Breakpoint tanked due to a ****** story/plot, online only requirements (even for PVE), non sensical and/or poorly implemented character/plot/gaming mechenisms from other Ubi franchises, and non responsive communication to customer concerns and state of patch development, and a HOST of bugs and glitches, as well as multiple defective patches. Sound familiar?

Although I do LOVE grinding my way through innumerable silly/comic relief world mysteries (because if there was ever a fun time in human history it was the Dark Ages with all the decline of civilization, raping, pillaging, warfare, looting, declining life expectency's and such), and pandering at trail intersections as a "disabled viking" for resources so I can finish the flipping settlement. Oh yea; and grinding through 2 million utterly meaningless character levels so I can take on those enemies in the next scire.

Beautiful game world though ! Ubi should stick to that, and sub contract Naughty Dog to do the stories/plots. NO one handed swords, NO perieod correct armors/clothes, a Drone.............................eeeeeerrrrrr I mean Raven, NO Shield Wall combat, grumble, grumble, grumble.....................
