Let me fight with my hood on!

I feel like this may have already been requested, but can you please, please, please add an option in the options menu that makes it so the hood only comes on or off by the player's command, and not when the game deems I should or should not have it on. Seems a strange choice to give the player when they have so limited control over it. I've been playing Assassin's Creed since the first game, it's your fault I like to fight with my hood up! So please let me!

@uhthrid I'm really hoping for this option as well. Players should be able to toggle the hood on or off permanently without it changing in distrust areas or during combat.

this game give's you the illusion of choice, auto sheath weapons, assigned Hood mechanic, yet the game decides when you should and shouldn't wear it.
Every time you get on your boat, your crew auto sings, every time I have to tell them to shut up.
Hud on Pathfinder, yet there are still floating quest markers on map, I want no Hud elements at all.
The audio alerts in this game are very irritating too, especially when wild life keep triggering it, I have a pair of eyes, no need for alerts or at least give us the option to turn them off. end of rant. cheers
