As others have said, I'm experiencing this bug and its the final quest for me to complete. Seems to happen by having too many medallions in the inventory and handing them to Hytham to receive Thor's cape, as it then assumes you've completed the poor fellow soldier quest when it actually never triggers. Happening on PS5 too.

2. Have you been to the village of Hamtunscire to continue the mission? Completed the area. Then went to America to kill the last order member (the guy's son) came back and Hytham has never approached me about the information or left his hut.
3. Do the "Breaking the Order" and "The Poor Fellow-Soldier" show as complete? Breaking the Order is my Only Active Quest in quest log. Poor Fellow Soldier is not in complete log. Pictures in ticket I mentioned above.
4. Have you completed every region on the alliance map? Yes
5. What platform are you playing on, and are you using cross-platform progression? Xbox One. No.

Got some problems as well.

The problem with my game is that I only have 14 medaillons left but I killed all the members of the order of ancients.

The root of the problem seems to begin from the game duplicating items (chest pieces, weapons and order medallions).

To get Thor's cloak you normally need to get rid of all order members (The Father has the last medallion) which is why Hytham is not giving you the poor fellow soldier's quest if you already gave him all medallions.

If you re-load a previous save in which you don't have Thor Cloak's yet, you might be able to proceed normally.

@raphaelzoren Unrealistic resolution. I have 14/15 medallions and have not received the cloak. My save is 110+ hours. I have no idea when and where this bug occurred.

I have 5/6 clues for The Father and everything I can find online says that Hytham should offer me a quest after defeating every other member of The Order. At some point I believe I acquired and extra medallion (or several?) from one or more of the members of the order, as I was able to complete the final hand-in with Hytham in order to receive Thor's Cloak and complete the quest to hunt the Order. Handing them in pretty clearly spoiled who The Father is and acted as if I had already dealt with him, but I never received the quest to do so. The result is such that I believe I am permanently and infuriatingly stuck with an incomplete Order screen as Hytham seems to think I'm done and just sits in the Bureau and never offers the final quest outside my longhouse.

I don't expect this is fixable in my case which is pretty disappointing. My best guess as to what caused this was having randomly killed Gifle (The Ash-Spear) before I had any clues pointing to their location. I believe this is the one that is just in some random bandit camp in Grantebridgescire. However being that I still have several order medallions in my inventory, it may be a more widespread issue.

Has anyone else encountered anything similar to this?

very frustrating is an understatement, I hav come across a fair few issues with missing trophies and quest items.

all I get told is to reload an old save but that doesn’t help

Thanks for looking into this,

my problem with this quest accupied when i killed every order member and then went to Haytem to deliver the medallions, however he and Eivor did indeed speak of who the father is and revealed its identity, i did not completed Hamtunscire before, after i finished hamtumscire and finished the game (including every wealth, Artifacts and mysteries, missing one mysterie because i cant finish the lost cauldron for the last mysterie to show up)
Haytem still is in the Creed office, and won't mention anything about The Father.
He isn't spawning at the longhouse as it should be.

He will spawn however if you finish Hamtunscire and the story FIRST and then kill the remaining Order members, and give him the medallions.

if you do everything before Hamtunscire, story, the game won't register the dialogues and will be bugged out

Hi, I've just completed all the story arcs and from what I've read Hytham should have a quest available now for me to find out who The Father is and complete the 'Breaking the Order' quest line but nothing has happened for me and my alliance table is fully complete! Please Help!
