@tyleremma2015 I really want to believe that we will get a patch. At least some people will moderate their ardor, if this is the case. I agree that some people here react to you too aggressively, just ignore them. It is always easier to cover a person with obscene language than to answer the case. "The Internet heroes" is a familiar problem for me. Do not react, take care of the nerve cells. I'm glad I got a polite response. You really aren't as bad as they say you are here.

Have the same issue on PC. Killed all of the members of Ancient Order but unable to start "The Poor Fellow-Soldier"...I cannot believe this issue is not fixed from November 2020. We are literally unable to finish the game..

I'm in the same situation. I can't start this mission, I've completed the main story, I have killed all of the order except the Father, I only have 5/6 clues for him. I have obtained all of Thor's Armor and Mjölnir, as well as Odin's Spear, so I've completed the main story. Any update on bug?

I was lucky and had an earlier save that only made me replay a few hours. The bug occurs (at least for me) immediately after completing the Wincestre arc. Regardless of how many order members are open/not killed Eivor says better talk to Hytham. If you talk to him and give him the medallions Eivor talks about who "Poor fellow soldier of Christ/Father" is, you get Thor's Cape and the father remains shaded. The mission to unveil him never happens, Hytham will remain in his cabin at the end of the game.

If you are lucky enough to have a save before this occurs or are starting over then to avoid the bug do not give Hytham the medallions at this moment. Play the game through until the Hamtunscire arc is complete. It is after this Hytham will appear in front of the Longhouse to give you the letter from the Poor fellow soldier/father and the mission to reveal him.

There are some other bugs though (not as major in my mind). If you have any open order members and start this mission they get revealed and killed automatically. Also I still have 5 medallions left at the end of the game.

@senorelgreco The funny thing is, is that this bug got reported on 26-11-2020... A gamebreaking bug...
This company cannot be taken seriously anymore. It is a big joke. They ignore us, fix nothing and seen the updates they have had 3498347593578234059237523 bugs when released, crap game.

@tyleremma2015 No worries, just take it easy man, everyone knows that it will be patched someday. People just want to mention their problems even if it's the same as what other members said.
The more people mention it, the better.

The title is taken from a locked topic in old forums yet the problem still exists and I cannot find an answer to the problem. It is the beginning of February the game has been out for almost 3 months and this critical bug has not been addressed. What is going on?

I got thor set before beating alfred in last quest and now hytham is not giving me letter. I tried loading old save about 15 to 17 hrs before but it was still there in my inventory even though i had not given the medallions to hytham. My current skill level is 406 i dont know how. Is there any fix or the update will fix it

@caesar02 neither can I even after killing all of the order members except for the father, I cant start this mission as I am missing one medallion. Could be that after killing one, I forgot to pick the medallion up. In the order section, everything looks the same except for the zealot cola which has a question mark even though he is dead so I think that I didn't pick his medallion up so now I have to locate a dead order member as it doesn't tell me where the missing medallion is.

This quest will start after finishing main story.

When you pledge your last region Hamtunscire, after finishing the last "siege" fight and after you retourn to your settlement, you will have to do a little speech with one NPC and when you heads to your longhouse to report Randvi, Haythem will wait for you there to give you letter. When you read this, The Poor Fellow Soldier quest should begin.

1. No, Hytham is just in his hut and all I can do is give medallions (I can only give 14) and give Codex pages (that's another glitch I'm dealing with, the game never cleared the Ratae Bureau even though I have all 6 Codex pages)
