I’ve played about 120 hours collecting almost all wealth, finishing almost all mysteries, and completing the story line. Overall I really enjoyed the game despite some downfalls and thought that it was a really intriguing narrative as with almost off of the AC games that I’ve loved playing. But one thing has annoyed me more than anything. The endgame reward of being able to obtain Mjilnor is stripped of all its joy. What I mean by this is what you have to go through to get it; you can’t get it without all the armor, can’t get that without killing all of the order, can’t do that until you complete the story line. And if you’re like me then you completed everything else while completing the story line. So now I finally get the most badass weapon in the game but there is nothing left to do, England is pacified so there isn’t even as many enemies in large groups anymore and worst of all there is no new game plus mode that lets me restart and keep my gear. I got Mjilnor and roamed around for about 20 minutes beating the crap out of people and now I’m bored with no incentive to do anything else. In my opinion all of the Thor gear should have been rewards obtained around mid game or shortly after and able to be acquired from Asgard and Jotunheim. I know it’s too late to fix these things but hopefully they will add a new game plus mode so that I can gain some more enjoyment from this item.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I so readily agree. Not much left to "tame" at that point. I was so happy though when I got it! Went crazy from early morning hunting them all down and got it finished. Trudged up north and did the quests and got my beautious hammer. It was late by then so I made a hard save and logged out to go to bed. Next day when I was ready to play I logged in to find my entire list of saves was gone. Everything I had finished lost to faulty saves mechanics of the Ubisoft "cloud". Still haven't finished a game without it deleting something .

I felt the same, I just ran around beating up large groups, etc., but the effects lost their luster. I'd love to swing Mjolnir around during a siege battle or just a big fight. It all felt kind of pointless having done everything and now you get Mjolnir, Gungir (The weapon itself looks nice but it has some stupid Isu forcefield on it constantly), and finally Excalibur (which is pointless since I hate two handed swords in this). Don't get me started on the depressing lack of armor variety either. All I have left in game is to find all the small chests and a handful of flying papers. New Game + and transmog need to get added ASAP.

And on top of that you can't even throw it, let alone throw it and have it come back. What a letdown.

@dahayes28 The game is far from over. Yes the game lacks in some sort of repeatable end game content atm. River raids definitely does not feel that void. But we haven't even got one expansion yet, game has only been out for a few months. Hopefully when it is all said and done we will have a complete game that many seek.
