Was playing through, and I decided to start over as I didn't like some choices I made and had no saves. Prologue was normal, everything worked fine. Then I get to a point right after you build the blacksmith and Sigurd shows you your room. I got tired, went to bed and so on. The next time I get on, I got a bunch of inventory adds (From Ubisoft Club and the store, idk if it's needed to know but I got the Eagle, Spartan Bow, Tribal Horse, The Free tattoos, and in the Store I got the Huldufolk Tattoos). I then went to Randvi, talk to her about alliances, aaaaand. I cant select an alliance. I'm looking at the map, the pawns are the white ones not the ravens and there's not even a highlight that shows what level they are and what the reward is. All I can do is move the curser around, back out and say "nevermind" to Randvi, or talk to her again and get the same results. I also checked my Inventory to find I had the Gallogliach chest armor, I never went to its location, nor picked it up and the final thing I found very wrong was Alvis and Holgar, or rather, lack of Holgar. When I talk to Alvis however there is an argument between them (The flyting dispute) I can hear Holgar but hes no where around and Alvis is blankly facing away from the longhouse. When you select to judge the flying, it boots you out of the conversation.

I ahve zero idea what caused this bunch of mess, but.. yikes.

Here's what I've tried to find the map still glitched.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hi Mandalore.Jinx! I appreciate you bringing these issues forward. First off, please try these steps as they may resolve these issues.

If the three issues persist, would you be able to send me a screenshot of the options it gives you when you talk to Randvi about pledging to alliances? I'd also like to see a screenshot of your inventory, and the map if you still haven't visited the area. Are you able to revisit the argument between Alvis and Holgar and grab a video if Holgar still doesn't appear? Thank you for your help.
