@amk-42 I have this same problem too. I emailed Ubisoft and they told me to uninstall and reinstall the game. I did that, but it did not fix it. She's still dead. I hope Ubisoft makes a patch and fixes it. I posted about this yesterday.

@herald_74 Yes, exact same thing happened to me. She was dead when I arrived at the brawl. She came to life in the cut scene after the fight, then dropped dead again after the cutscene. Then of course she's dead in front of her troops at the final battle, and the quest icon disappears when I get to the staging area.

Maybe if more people submit a ticket for this then Ubisoft will fix it instead of telling us to reinstall the game, which doesn't fix it.

@amk-42 I also just noticed you're playing on Xbox one. I'm on PC. So the problem is the game itself, not the console version.

@stroker155 Reinstalling the game wont do anything as the problem is within the save itself as i have tried to load my friends save on my console where the mission works yet the mission is still broken and also it has occurred on all platforms PS4/Xbox One/PC. After about of messing about with this stupid glich i have only been able to make it worse not better which is unfortunate and i feel it will only be fixed by a update unfortunately.

@ubi-mark Hello, here's a video of the part where the bug prevents us from pursuing the main quest. We really need a fix ASAP because I just noticed I can't continue in any other main quest.

I join the meeting place in Magnis, but the rest of the quest does not start.
I tried reloading an older save, doing another quest but nothing worked.
After research on the internet normally the next step is to report to Ljufvina. And going to look where it should be for the record, there's her corpse.

@ubi-mark Hello. I also have this bug where Ljufvina is dead on the floor upon my arrival in Jorvik with Faravid, which makes me unable to progress Honor's Hubris. I really hope this is something you're gonna prioritize in the upcoming patch - can you advise me on whether I should refrain from playing any more or if I should just go grab another questline? If this can be fixed retroactively I can keep playing, but if I need to reload an older save I'm just gonna do other stuff meanwhile.

@kl4tt3n I did go and complete other questlines while I wait for this mission to get fixed.

Also, I have the exact same problem as all the videos posted. Exact same thing happens for me on PC.

Same issue here, ljufvina dead lying on the ground. I had to lookup a video to see the actual working quest and find her name as I had forgotten where she was from. What I've found, the only work around is to load back to beginning of suthsexe save and not let her die in main story quests. For me that would be not possible as I did not keep a save that far back...,10-20 hours worth, so either you were smart enough to have a save, start the game over again, or wait for a patch...

im on the part where im helping Hjorr in a barfight in Jorvik in preperation for a war in the Eurvicscire story chain, after the barfight Ljufvina have take part in the talkings in the cinematic, then after it is complete she falls over dead, this is problematic when i few parts later in quest need to talk to her in the forward camp before the attack starts. When i arrive there she also lie on the groud there dead.

What can i do about that?

@tyranzyt But must i load back to the moment she died? i have no idea of what timing that is but my guess would be the assault on Fulkes castle. I have reloaded to before fight 20 times and the same thing happens every time.

Hi, this has been reported earlier and is an apparent game breaking bug. You either have to reload a most likely much earlier save if you have one, restart entire game if not, or wait for a patch to hopefully fix the issue. According to a post I've seen on Reddit, the bug happens if Ljufvina dies in Sussex before storming the keep to save Sigurd, during your quest with Ljufvina and Stoke to capture an enemy camp. If she dies here, and you don't resurrect her before ending combat, she'll stay dead the rest of the game.

That makes sens, tho i dont have any saves who goes this far back in my load game menu Ill have to sit and wait for a patch then. Thanks for the info
