Cant speek to Faravid and Hjorr's wife laying on the ground like she's dead before attack in chapter 4 of the mission

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hey all!

I apologies for the delayed update. This issue has been marked as resolved following the deployment of TU 1.1.0. If Ljufvina is still unavailable for you to proceed with Honor's Hubris, please could you update this thread that shows a video of this happening in-game? We can then pass this onto the development team for further investigation. Thanks! 😊

@RainbeauRanger - Does this issue still persist for you, or have you been able to progress through Honor's Hubris now?

Having the exact same issue.. i even loaded an earlier save few quest back and that didnt fix it.. she first shows up dead at the brawl before you head to the war camp then her body teleports to the war camp once you get there and cant progress any further.

In Son of Jorvic when I show up to the fist fight, the female main character is lying dead. I fight the men to get Halfgard's forged documents. In the cut scene the girl comes back to life and talks to me. However, at the staging point for the final battle in Honor's Hubris she's lying dead in front of the troops. I assume she's supposed to be leading them. The quest marker disappears and I cannot progress further to the final battle.

I have tried verifying my game files. Loading a previous save from before the fist fight of Son of Jorvic but she is always dead when I arrive to the fight. I have tried both online and offline.

I submitted a support ticket to Ubisoft but I'm wondering if anyone else has this same problem. I've even tried pledging to another location to get a new set of quests, but when I go back to that one it's the same, she's still dead and I cannot finish the quest. I am playing on PC.

On mission Honor's hubris I get to the final camp and I am supposed to talk to Ljufvina to start next part of mission but she is laying on ground and appears to be dead so it does not give me option to speak with her. How do I fix?

@amk-42 I have the exact same issue. I have the title of the sequence but no objective displayed. Ljufvina dropped dead before my eyes during the quest where you had to brawl with a bunch of drunks to rescue her husband. She went back to life for a couple of seconds during the cutscene, but when I reached the camp to help Faravid, I found her dead. No way around this and can't progress.

My friend has the same issue during the brawl she can be seen dead on the floor then comes back to life during the cutscene but then dies again right after and cant get the Honor's Hubris cutscene to play. Some where along the line she has died in some way and the game is just placing her corpse there when it renders the area by any chance does anyone still have a save where they know she is still alive? if we can figure out when she dies it might help to find the cause of this stupid bug.

@hunteroftruth01 the last mission I can think of that she would have been alive in for me was the feast with the poisoned wine. But I cant (or dont know how) to go that far back in my progress to load that mission again

@amk-42 Have you done the Suthsexe region missions to do with Sigard?

@hunteroftruth01 yes the only regions I do not have done are the 200+ power level ones

@amk-42 Ok can you remember if you did Suthsexe before Jorvik or did you do Jorvik before Suthsexe?

@hunteroftruth01 I believe I did Jorvik before suthsexe but I dont remember her being in the recovery of sigurd

Hm so somehow after Jorvik she lost her god mode and died now the game is just spawning her corpse the weird thing is that the brawl fight cutscene still starts even tho she is dead but not the Honor's Hubris one.

@hunteroftruth01 also I dont understand how she could have died.. especially if she is in later missions.. if she was downed she should be able to be revived which automatically happens at the end or a raid/siege

@hunteroftruth01 right but you dont have to speak with her directly in the brawl fight

@amk-42 Same here, did Jorvik before Sussex too. I don't know if it could be a lead ...

@amk-42 True but i still would have thought it would still resurrect her during the cutscene like in the brawl fight one but i guess not. I dont understand how such game breaking bugs even make it into the game before launch like do Ubisoft not fully play test there games a few times before they releases it?

@hunteroftruth01 @Herald_74 yeah you would think they would but you never know what bugs will happen after launch. I'm just hoping that they can fix this issue in a timely manner so I can finish the game!

In the Eurvicscire questline (The Sayings of Halfdan) on the "This Son of Jorvik" quest after I do the bar fight with Hjorr to convince him to make the false documents his wife Ljufvina randomly drops dead. If I continue the questline it stops when I get to the camp in "Honor's Hubris" because I cant talk to Faravid and theres a dead Ljufvina corpse just up the stairs.

I tried to reload, and I've even repledged to a different area and completed that questline and came back and shes still dead.

I've now completed every single available alliance on the map except for Eurvicscire and I am still unable to proceed past Honor
    s Hubris.

I only have 1 save file and I'm nearly 60 hours into the game, I'm not starting over.

I even took a video of what happens when I try to proceed with the questline.

Because of this bug it seems I am not unable to complete the game.

Update. Ubisoft told me to uninstall and reinstall the game. I did that. She's still dead and I cannot continue. They need to make a patch and fix it. Also, I'm not the only one with this issue. https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/81789/honor-s-hubris-bug
