@the_tordah Thats a nice idea and might go around the problems root, but ubi cant expect everyone to follow what you did.

I hope there is at least some announcement or an ETA when we can expect some kind of fix or workaround for our game. Especially people who invested like 100hrs+

I've done some research and I think I've figured out why this happens. By some miracle of God or something, I happened to have a save in Sussex right before doing all the allied prerequisite quests for storming the keep to save Sigurd. The problem happens here. If Ljufvina gets knocked down during the quest "Arrive Unexpected", where you join her and Stoke retaking a camp from enemy soldiers (she gets knocked a lot), and you DON'T resurrect her before the fighting is over, she stays dead for the rest of the game. I've reloaded that save (lost 12 hours of progress - yay!) and just made it back to Honor's Hubris, where everything progressed as normal. So if you do happen to have a manual save around that time, you can get "past" this if you're willing to put in the time."

Found this in Reddit, maybe it can help someone.

    Playing on ps5, patch 1.0.2

After making my way to the camp site before the attack on the fortress, I discover that Ljufvina is lying dead in a field, and I’m supposed to talk to her to trigger a story mission.

I noticed earlier in the story line that, after speaking with her in a cutscene, when I get control over my character again, Ljufvina falls over dead.

Game cannot be progressed after this point.

This is a problem I have to it's frustrating, they told me to see if I could figure It out. It's not my problem its theirs. I knew that other people have the problem they need to fix it I don't want to switch story arcs then have to go all the way back to fix something.

@saintspirit992 yeah but a lot of us dont have a save that's is that close, I'd have to go back to my save of only 8hours into the game. Which I get is my fault for not saving manually more.

I don’t even have Honors Hubris available, I’ve done everything else and have no save file before it. I’ve noticed that Road to Hamratia and Son Of Jorvik are both marked as chapter 3. I don’t want to throw away 90hrs of game play to start again. Any news on a fix or work around?

Right...maybe a work around. Go to the royal hall in Jorvik and you should be able to speak to an NPC. Use Odin sight to find them, they’ll have a blue dot and a speach bubble

    Hey!

So during Honor's hubris quest. I can't start the quest at all cuz one npc is dead (which we are supposed to talk to) Ljufina I think was her name. She died in Son of Jorvik quest at bar where we fight against some people with Hjorr. Basically I can't finish the main storyline cuz of this bug and it seems that I am not the only one.
Here is video of some player:

    Please fix this fast.

    Regards,
    FuriousDragon

@therealbuju3000 I get what you mean when Odyssey released I couldn't fast travel out of Atlantis and that was the only way out so I had to go back +15 hour save and go to a specific location to fix it. I got it at launch and didn't want to pre order Valhalla but it had really good reviews.

Hey Ubisoft, Its me again... Michael... You know, one of your loyal consumers thats been buying Assassin Creed games for the last decade? Just curious about this whole game breaking Honor's Hubris bug. Any news? I know your busy and have a thousand other bugs your working on. Like longships rocketing out of the water, NPC's going insane, unexpected game crashes every hour on the hour, extreme sound and lighting issues, etc. I mean, lets be honest. Theres a LOT of bugs. Who knew that a AAA game from a flagship series could have so many problems upon release?

Anyway, we on this thread feel that this bug might take some priority over those other pesky bugs. You know, seeing how we can't finish the game and all. Soooo, any word on a patch? Any word when we can play and finish the game? I would like to finish it before Cyberpunk releases and I completely forget about Valhalla, but so far thats proved difficult.

    Thanks,
    Michael
