I'm so confuse about the feast buff. I know that if you build facility in your settlement it will give you feast buff and if you upgrade that facility it will give you even more. But! it just stop working midway, now I have

    +3.0 range damage
    +25.0 health
    +25.0 health
    +3.0 armor.
    +3.8 assassination damage
    +3.8 assassination damage
    +3.8 assassination damage
    +3.0 Melee damage

All upgrade after this point don't give me any increased buff. What am I suppose to do after spending so much time farming all supplies and get nothing out of it.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. @p2kanathip
I am having the same problem. I went on a raiding tear specifically to get those valuable resources so I could keep upgrading my settlement. I upgraded my Fowl Farm and Grain Farm to the second level, but the extra buffs didn't show up. So that was my first clue something was wrong. Then I went to the Fowl Farm to see if I upgraded it to the final level to see if that might fix it. Unfortunately, it did not. Also, it appeared that my second level upgrade wasn't showing up either, but yet the resources aren't in my inventory any longer. I sent a support ticket to Ubisoft yesterday, so hopefully I'll hear something back soon.

I also just encountered this bug, unfortunately I only noticed after trying to buy the third fowl farm upgrade... Wasted resources! Bah

I'm hoping there are enough on the map to still continue once it's fixed... Don't have much hope though

I'm hopeful that the devs will get this bug all fixed so that those resources won't be lost. I hope!! Lol

I have the same exact stats as the OP. I have upgraded the fowl farm 3 times and another one that is supposed to give the second armor boost and nothing happens to increase my feast buff stats. This is ridiculous that they haven't fixed this bug. Resources are too hard to come by to be wasting them. Fix this NOW!

Is this ever going to get fixed? It's been ages for such a big bug. Upgrading the farms just never increases the buff.

Upgraded fowl farm 3 times. I still only get the first lvl buffs. Now there is no upgrade signs, no more raw matterials available, and stuck on just a unit shy of settlement lvl 6. Very frustrating trying to figure out what if anything I might be missing!

I just got my settlement to level 6 now. The second and the third upgrade for Fowl farm, Grain farm and Cattle farm - did nothing for my Feast boost. Such a disappointment... 😕

Hey guys, thanks for getting in touch and apologies for the confusion regarding Buff bonuses.

We did report this to the developers and they have stated that upgrading builds will not result in additional buffs - this is working as intended. I will pass your feedback along regarding this, though - Upgrading something and getting more of a bonus is a great suggestion.

    @Ubi-Spud
Ya, not buying that. I have the Assassin Boost at a higher level and on the List of Settlement Improvements across from the mail box saying All my Feast Buff building have the 2x available despite having the coup maxed and the others on level 3 already. Having a useless upgrade where you could dump your limited resources needed to construct building would be a huge oversight on the developers. This wouldn't be so much an issue if you guys would allow us to fix it ourselves, but that would cut into your online profits if we could more freely modify our own game experience.

You're not Bethesda, this isn't an intended "feature".

Hi @ThatSurfinOtter apologies for the late response.

I have checked this again with the development team and they have confirmed that you only get improvements to the feast buff when you first build the three farms. The additional upgrades do not improve the feast buff anymore.

I understand that it shows this on the screen each time you upgrade the farms but that text was only meant to relate to the building being built.

I apologise for any confusion this has caused and I have forwarded your feedback on to the development team.

If you have any further questions about this, please let me know.

@Ubi-Keo I don't understand the rationale of upgrading the village then. If I grind for the things necessary to upgrade the village for no improvements why should I do it then. It's fun raiding the monasteries but that should not be the reason the game has to upgrade the buildings.

Especially at the time when you have finished all monasteries on the map, and in all DLCs and still don't have enough materials to finish the village upgrades. It feels pointless.

Also: I never used the buff to improve fighting but there are probably folks who do. And for them the process should be explained better. The farms have more upgrades than listed on Randvi's village update document on Eivor's desk. The buffs don't improve after upgrades anymore. This needs to be well documented. And in a way to give people the sense that it is well thought through.

You could use the correct info: the farms all need 4 upgrades. The feast buff improves up to this limit (state the limits for each buff). The incentive to upgrade the village up to level 6 is the following: (list incentive)

    • Track the building upgrades on Randvi's sheet correctly. Right now the sheet says 2 upgrades per farm.
    • Track the feast buff upgrades for the buildings correctly. Now the upgrade signs at the buildings say the upgrade improves the feast buff by this level even though the feast buff is fully upgraded already.
    • Spin the incentive to upgrade the village to level 6 into something that makes the player feel good about striving to upgrade the village further and further even though the buffs have stopped improving.
    • Make it clear that the monasteries are not the only way to get the raw materials needed to upgrade the buildings. Give a hint to the player where to get the missing raw materials after all monasteries are exhausted.
    • I have seen a lot of posts asking where to get the supplies needed to upgrade. Give a hint to the player where to get them: in the rectangular shaped loot chests around the docks in the towns. They are marked on the map with a small yellow dot, just like the loot chests with leather/ore.

That should help make the village upgrades and building upgrades more accessible.

HARD TO BELIEVE, as a programmer. Ubisoft be honest about it, the Assassination Damage bonuses stack because there are separate buildings for it, and the other (the farms) are one only building for each type of bonus, and they forgot to program the stacks when we upgrade them. How much did this game made and still makes in revenue that you couldn't address this in the 1.7.0 patch?

Hi @ScorpioNspear10 as I mentioned previously the development team confirmed this is working as intended as you only get improvements to the feast buff when you first build the three farms. The additional upgrades do not improve the feast buff anymore.

We did forward the feedback we received from players about this on to the development team.

I can understand the confusion and can only apologise.

I will now lock this thread.
