i literally can’t reload a save, I’d have to make a new game

This is now my last mission stopping me from progressing in the main story. I am not restarting the game. I am going to grab some collectibles and then put A/C away until this is patched. Kind of upsetting. Still a great game. Just a little disappointing.

edit: This is NOT the same issue as the one in the megathread.

I'm on the "Clues and Riddles" quest at the part where the quest line says, "Help Halewyn prepare for his ritual". He asked me to burn the strawmen, so I set all 5 of them on fire. The quest refuses to progress. I've tried hard resetting, fast traveling then returning, and basically every other basic troubleshooting that I can do. I even tried re-loading a save that was 3 hours before I got to this point in the quest, and still no change. I'd also like to add that it now says most of my quick saves are corrupted! So now I only have my single quicksave where the strawmen are already burning. I've got more than 80 hours in the game already and I'd really like to progress! I'm playing on Xbox One X.

@swiftblade Same problem here. Tried everything, wore the mask. But unable to open the door or intersect. Please fix this bug!

I have been stuck on this quest for long time now I've tried everything reseting my console Uninstalled the game went to different save points let the cutscene play out its a nasty nasty bug that's been keeping me behind from moving on with the game come on ubisoft.... I thought the 4.5 go update was it but nope I'm on Xbox one too by the way please help???!!!!

Yep, same here. Been stuck here for over a week now, done nearly everything else i could do but the main story line... New update did nothing for this quest, now we have to wait for the next update in about 2 weeks, and even then, if we're lucky... It's just sad really.

Have the same problem. See the Clues and Riddles title only with nothing below. I tried a few times to get all clues again including the one on the statue with no success. This is with the latest updated from today. I cannot go back to a previous save as I already progressed long in the game. It is really annoying and I really need this resolved to be able to complete this quest.

@gymtan I have the same problem. I have even left it for a while gone and finished the Asgard missions, restarted the game multiple times and still nothing the door won't open. Today after a 4gb update this bug isn't fixed, they should add an abandon quest option for real...

after patch this quest is still broken same issue as before unable to interact with druid behind the door at all.
i do not have any saves to go back to either.

I've also hit a snag with this quest.

Halewyn wouldn't talk to me, so my character said the line about being disguised. I then popped into my world map, but something caused the game to crash on my console. I restarted from the most recent autosave, and my character was disguised. Only, I couldn't interact with Halewyn. I tried earlier saves and still nothing.

(Extra detail if it helps: I'm on a PS5 playing the upgrade from the PS4 version of the game.)

@kerusoo Same here. I answer all of his questions, but the quest does not complete. From what I saw he is supposed to send you to Thieves' Warren. I wonder if my issue is that I already cleared it out for loot before I talked tot he druid.
