I have done almost everything I’ve seen on the internet about the clues and riddles quest. But the bug is still there despite the latest update to acv. I have tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling. The file saves. And etc etc. but the guy still won’t let me talk to him after I set the 5 straw men on fire. Is there anyway past this bug. Or do I have to start the game all over again? Should we all wait for the next patch since 1.0 4 or whatever didn’t work? Am I the only one after December 18 who is still having this problem?

Stuck in this quest. It won't allow me talk to Halewyn after light up all the scarecrows . I've been trying lighting up these scarecrows over and over just to make sure it's light up, but it still won't fix the problem

this needs sorting out, I’ve put 50+ into this game and basically hit a brick wall
playing on ps5 , carried on with the game thinking I’ll go back and it will work
Still not working, I’ve stopped playing now after reading and trying all the fixes online, nothing worked

Btw, I’ve lit all wicker men, checked all clues but the game will just not let me proceed after that point, Eivor doesn’t offer an answer

nah it’s not just you bro, I thought the dec 18th update would fix it but I can’t play past the clues and riddles mission.
I have lit all the straw men on fire,found the clues etc but no objective marker to carry on.

ubisoft’s mistake has made me not want to buy another one of their games at launch again.

annoying as I love the creed games,completed most far cry’s,watchdogs 1&2 and the division 2

at least I have destiny to fall back on

@fau_owls_2004 As far as I know, there still isn’t any fix... just have to wait till Ubisoft fixes it in the future hopefully...

Hey guys, how about we stop insulting the Ubisoft staff for a bug that wasn't caused by them? They've given us as much information as possible, I've been stuck on this quest since mid November too, and I agree that it's ridiculous to have such a gamebreaking bug in a story mission, big QA failure, but at this point either wait or ask for a refund, don't threaten and insult them. It's people like you who give us a bad image.
