@acidlain i had this issue but i forgot about it and went to play story quests, after i progressed more in the story, Fabric started to drop like crazy, almost in every chest.

Same issue here. Maxed out quiver and rations and now I can't complete Dobby's Altar.

The issue will be resolved tomorrow with the 1.04 update. As stated in the patch notes, FABRIC Maximum will now be 82 AND we'll have the opportunity to buy fabrics from merchant once the settlement have reached level 6.

Same problem here, cant finish Offering Stones mystery in Eurvicscire because after i fully upgraded my gear i havnt got no fabric anymore!

@lootdemon Fabric is addressed in the Nov 26 patch.

Both an increase to the fabric limits and fabric for sale by traders at settlement level 6 (for those who missed out).

The offering altar (Dobby's Altar in Dalby Forest, Eurvicscire as mentioned in the title) requires "5 Fabric" in order to complete it but if you have upgraded your Quiver and Rations to maximum by the time you get there you do not get fabric as loot anymore and in my case had no more in my inventory since I upgraded the first chance I got. I know the resource is gone because I'm now level Power 312 and loot everything in sight across multiple regions in an attempt to 100% each zone and fabric has dried up completely even in level 200-300 areas. This leaves me in a position to where it is now impossible to complete the region without either a patch or in the distant future some upgrade to the Quiver or Rations makes fabric an obtainable resource again. I'm not sure if this is a bug/glitch or gameplay issue, but you may want to look into it because you have a lot of region completionists out there like myself that will likely become quite annoyed by an inability to complete all regional mysteries.

@sofajockey I think someone posted earlier that it makes no difference. Apparently it seems there is a fixed amount of fabric you can get and it doesn't include the 5 for the offering. This person stated they donated the five and then couldn't fully upgrade the quiver because they couldn't get any more fabric. I think it will have to be a patch to fix it.

@mstrtarvos In the Odyssey forums people were complaining about having all these extra materials that were useless once you upgraded the spear to max level. This probably influenced the decision with the fabric. Not insider information or anything, just a guess.

I comleted the upgrade for the Quiver and Rations storage, now I still need 4 pieces of fabric to sacrifice to the Dobby Altar (Eurvicscire), but am not able to get any more pieces... No more chests 2 loot.!?

Can confirm, it is fixed. You can buys the 5 Fabric pcs at vendor (if level6) and complete the altar.

@sangonth I still haven't seen any drop from chests but it nice to know that's there at least as a last resort.

Well it didn't work for me, still not getting fabric from chests and no fabric at the vendor (my settlement is level 6).

Update didn't fix it for me! I already have a settlement at level 6 and not any vendors seems to have any fabric. I can't find any either.

I swear they deployed the wrong build on XSX|S.

No Fabric on XSX.

Playing on PC and the first chest I looted (in Essex) dropped a fabric after the update.

@ifrike So it sounds like the correct patch possibly went to PC but not Xbox.

guys.... Increasing the number of fabric by 5 doesnt help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bevor the update 1.04, I stuck at 12 fabric left, now after the patch 1.04, I need 7 more. Please fix that I, want my healing pounch maxed. It couldnt be that hard or? Make unlimited fabric and finish this bug, who cares the amount of fabric in the inventory?

The issue has not been fixed for me.

Settlement is level 6, I have completed the story, my power is 385.

I have 9 fabric in my inventory, but need 10 for my 9th quiver upgrade. I will also need however many are needed for the final quiver upgrade. I have not turned in the 5 at the altar either.

my town vendor is not selling fabric and I just cleared Uffentune in Hamtunscire and got no fabric. That is an area I had not been to prior to this morning’s update.
