How to perform Bow Stun Finisher?

I have both the Charged Shot skill and Bow Stun Finisher skill unlocked in the skill tree. Tooltip for Bow Stun Finisher says I have to aim at the head of a stunned enemy and press R to perform the animation. Everytime I do so (of course on a stunned enemy), I perform the Charged Shot skill, since it also requires pressing R instead. Am I missing something? Im aiming at the stunned enemy with my bow, charged and uncharged, but pressing R still makes me do the Charged Shot skill
