So, I bought the game today and to my surprise there's a glitch with purple lights and orange lights popping out every where making the same unplayable. It seemed like a GPU driver problem so I updated my drivers to the newest one but still was getting it. So I used DDU to remove the drivers completely and I updated to the newest one again on a complete fresh driver install and the problem still happens. I tried running the game at low, medium, high and still the same on all. Like the game is running fine but its the lights popping out of everywhere. The FPS is grand and would be playable if these lights were not popping everywhere. I really wanna play the game too. I was play Red Dead 2 last night mostly medium-high with ultra textures and nothing like this happens in that game or any other. Just this one so I really don't know what to do and I hate to think I spent 60 euros on a game I won't be able to enjoy. It's worst inside I noticed. Images attached and these images are only showing a little bit. Drivers are up to date and done with a fresh install so I really don't know now.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@thefrostyblur So basically I think it's something to do with lights. In more light heavy areas this seems to happen and inside if there is a lot of fire going on. It's so strange
@aloquis I did a clean install of the newest Windows version (That's the cause outdated Windows at least for me and other people) In fact when I installed the new version of Windows 10 I still had a very outdated GPU driver installed the game still worked without the lighting just was very laggy to play but updating the GPU driver fixed that and the game works great. I played like 1 hour to hours with those trippy lights and when I fixed it I just restarted the game to play those first two hours or so without the lights and I don't regret it. I wouldn't recommend playing the game like that until you fix it because I enjoyed the second round ten times more than the first. It won't be immersive with the lights at all I tried but I couldn't play 20 hours plus like it.
So update Windows to the latest version available download it off Windows website if you need and make sure the GPU drivers are updated.
Hi,
I would like to report a bug, in which started to appears when I approach and started the first seer mission (asgard). During the cutscene, the screen appears to blink the whole time with yellowish flash, and after that whenever i call my raven and wanted to return to eivor, the screen will blink with white flash two/three times during that transition. This also happened during any transition to cutscene or talking with NPC (white flash / yellowish flash blinking)
It happened quite fast and is still ongoing whenever the said transition occurs, and sometimes randomly flash even during the cutscene or dialog with NPC.
TQ
Today the game started having flashing white lights both in dialog scenes and when walking around the world, as well as some lighting artifacts in some places.
E.g.
I'm having the same issue. (https://gyazo.com/da62355024bcb81e9bc2d0f87def8609: (https://gyazo.com/da62355024bcb81e9bc2d0f87def8609))
Haven't played for a few days and updated my GeForce Game Ready Driver during that time to fix a bug in another newly released game x)
Since nothing else changed maybe thats the problem?
@red-origins Yes. Im having the same issue as well. Seemed to start after the cyberpunk Nvidia update perhaps.
same here. It started appearing randomly but now the game is unplayable
Hi after updating to latest nvidia drivers every time i`m in a cutscene like world event screen flashing white it is like reflection from the sky, did not have this problem before for almost 140h in game, have no idea what it is tried to tweak every nvidia setting nothing. After small cut scene is finished white light is not present anymore. Thanks. Please if devs can look into this. Much love and thank you again.
Edit: Sorry guys I can`t edit my post.
Manage to fix it ACvalhalla ini file I turned off reflection but the thing is reflection is still in my game but no more white flashing lights in those short cutscenes hope this can help devs for a future fix, this is something related to new nvidia drivers or latest win10 update.
King Regards.
i am having the same problem after the updates. Could you explain how you solved it please?
Had the same issue, any cut scene the whole thing goes white. I rolled back my nvidia graphics drivers to 457.51 and that fixed the issue.
@red-origins Same problem. Can't continue playing until it's fixed. For me it started with Yule festival so I thought it's related to snowing (snow stuck on camera lens or something) but it seems to be a problem indoors as well on your video.
@provo-kid Same. Actually, turning Depth of field off and turning back on again seemed to have helped for now.
as you can see from the picture above during cut scenes or at the vendor the refection of light get so bright they white out the whole screen, in the Arena fights its flashes on and off making it very hard to see the orange and red flashes of the fighters, this seems to clear up once out side of the snow area of Ravensthorp, in some of the cut scenes it flashes so much it almost is a strobe effect, with a bit of techno would have an illegal rave
