Same exact issue on my ps4 pro. All files said corrupt. 12 hrs of game play.... Then wouldn't even let me start the game after I tried to quit and restart. Re-installing now, I guess ill see if that works....

I have this problem also, on Xbox Series X. It's extremely likely this issue is on Ubisoft's end.

Here are my symptoms:

A manual save will show as "Data Corrupted!" and cannot be loaded.
Most of my autosaves also show as "Data Corrupted!" and I cannot load them either.
The store does not connect.
Ubisoft Connect does not connect.

In my list of saved games there are two "cloud" saves, one of a "mission exclusive save" and another autosave from the first or second quest. They have those cloud with arrow icons which means the data is in the cloud. They are not "Corrupted Data," so I have left them be.

There are no issues with my Xbox's connection to the Internet.

Things that DO work:
Loading from the last checkpoint when I die.
The Series X's Quick Resume ability means that I haven't had to shut off my game, which is the only thing but one saving my progress.
After leaving the game on while I did the dishes and talked with my family, I came back to ONE autosave that wasn't corrupted timestamped during when I was out of the room. I immediately shut the game down, as I assume this will load properly once Ubisoft sorts out their cloud saving issues.

I've had this 3 times now. Xbox One X. Over 500GB HDD Space free, data corrupts after a manual or automatic save, originally lost over 12 hours of work as my xbox was in stand by mode, I don't even feel like playing as if I have to re-do everything again for it to corrupt again fter that, I'm just not going to be interested.

@xsynnistr had this issue on ps4. Went to ps4 settings menu, network and unchecked connect to Internet. That logged me off PSN. Checked it back on and waited for PSN to show as online. Went back into the game and saved again. It worked that time.

@Ubi-Baron - found a workaround for PS4 users. Not sure if you know about it already...

Upon upgrading my quiver from level 3 to 4, my game somehow fails to save properly. I was able to reproduce this many times; my saved game files are completely fine until I try to upgrade the quiver. Then any save game from that point onward (both manual and autosaves) starts reporting "Data corrupt!".

Don't know if it's relevant at all, but I am currently doing the Ledecestreshire questline.

@epero if you aren't on playstation like the previous post noted a workaround and are able to at least load your save; I noticed that I gained a normal looking save with the story save. I fought the battle at the bridge of Asgard and the save says something about story save (I don't have my xb on right now) so it doesn't say see above all or corrupt. I've stopped playing with the hope they fix this issue and my current named and possibly ok saves will be good when it's fixed. I'm level 70ish so perhaps you've already done most of the forced story milestone saves, but if not...try to get one and just leave the game until they fix this issue.

I am on PC. If they at least give classic save files which can be stored and then renewed. but I cant find anything like that.
Even though when I start the game it says "Your profile invalid" and couldn´t start the game. It freez during "checking for add-ons" (so incredibly long start of such expensive game is absurd). It start but after few tries.
And they don´t even have "check integrity of files" like steam so no reason to not be on steam if they can offer stability service.
And it is already a week and no patch.

Fourth new game, then got corrupted data again, this is after got about another 40 hours into the game, I’m undownloading this game, I’m not investing any more time on a game I have to constantly restart, especially after a week and no patch AND I paid way more than 100 bucks for Ubisoft u cheated all of us

Yeah, at least with steam it's a bit easier to find save files to back up, I play a few PC games and found back ups essential for dragon's dogma and dark souls 3. I googled and perhaps you have too, but if not, you can check around this destination to see if you can copy the save files...if I had it on PC, I'd have a more informed answer but went with xbox until it has a PC sale and I want to replay. Let PC users know if this works or you find it elsewhere, I'm sure it will be immensely helpful to those lucky enough to have purchased on that platform. I resumed my game today from a suspended state. Was in Jotunheim and did a manual save, showed up as corrupted data save, noticed also that all of my autosaves from today are corrupt as well. Deleted all the corrupt saves and let the game do a new autosave, also corrupt.

Again deleted all corrupt saves, exited game completely, shut down my console. Started console and game back up. Manual and autosaves seem to be OK now.
Possible that restarting from a suspended game caused the problem?

This is also happening to me, trying to interact with the PS4 is just causing it to switch off completely.

Same issue on xbox one. Lost one hour the other day and just lost like 8 hours on this last corrupt bug. This is ridiculous and makes me not want to even try to keep playing the game. I love the game so far with close to 30 hours total so far(now only 19) this needs to be fixed soon. Should have been fixed before release but hey, gotta get that money. Makes it hard to trust the devs going forward.

Okay so I was having all corrupt data on assassins creed valhalla after 30hrs of gameplay... lvl 109. Brokenhearted I thought I lost everything. I could not manual save and autosaves were not working either as they were titled data corrupt. I was able to load back into a save about an hour before I noticed but it was doing the corrupt data...BUT I found a fix that has worked for me and hopefully it works for you guys too. Deleted the files that said corrupt and I went to atlas in map and traveled back to Norway. I tried a manual save there in Fornburg and a autosave while meditating. It fixed it for me. No problems since! I am playing on xbox one s. Best of luck! -SirCatDaddy3

So I have a few corrupt auto saves that come back after I delete them. I do have a few good non corrupted manual saves with my 10 hrs in. Can I delete those autos continue the game and just fast travel around and overwrite them. Or am I screwed?
