

The mission “a brewing rebellion” is still glitched. The last patch said it fixed it but clearly not. When I go to open the door of the buckingham long house, Sygurd is no where to be found and I can’t force the door open. It has been a month or more that I can’t play the game. Pls fix
I can't complete brewing rebellion because I went to the villa before I started that quest and now I can't rescue the thegns because I let them out of the cages pryor I have done all other side quest options and can't continue the main story anymore

That will happen when? Bought a full priced AAA game and we are now almost two months later and I can still not play it and can't get a refund, not only can't get one but was rudely told I would never get one. I will only ever pirate your games from now on though I had been buying them for decades. Obviously I won't make a difference in their business practices they obviously do not care about their customers and just expect brand loyalty to win out. Time for these fools to lose their jobs.

I'm working on an Oxfordshire story.
I met Sigurd and Basim, and we started to force the door open to rescue Oxfordshire's Thegn.
But I pressed the wrong key moment. So process was stoped.
Again I try to force the door open, but story doesn't go ahead.
Meditation is useless, and it is useless to proceed with other stories too.
So I can not playing any more games.
Hopefully this bug will be fixed as soon as possible.
@whdgur73 Hello there! We appreciate you reaching out with this, and sorry to hear it's happening! First, I'd like to know if fast traveling away, completing a different mission, reloading the game, or perhaps loading a recent previous save allow you to re-attempt opening the door? If you're still unable to open the door after these, we'd love to see a video of the issue, so we may report things up to the team!
This won't come as news but Brewing Rebellion is broken. Sigurd is not in the longhouse and he and the other guy (he wasn't interesting enough to learn his name) are just hanging out in the street. I can use the forum workaround to get the door open with the bard but nothing triggers. I have slept, reloaded, etc. cloak/no cloak. Used the horn, went back to norway, slept, killed everyone, didn't kill anyone etc. My only reasonable save is probably 15 hours back and there is no way I am spending the time to re-build a settlement I have already built. Please fix this.
While playing i cannot finish the mission because all freed thegns are just standing And the mission Is still to free them not "escort them to safety"
Tried everything...meditate, reset, go sleep to longhouse etc.
Nothing helped....

This bug is currently included on our Known Issues Megathread, more specifically under the section of issues that are actively being investigated by the development team. With that being said, I would strongly suggest checking that megathread for updates on this bug! Your continued patience is greatly appreciated in the meantime.
No quest marker, Sigurd just standing around, using the Bard work around doesn't trigger the cut scene. May be time to just move on to a new game. Since this was identified as "fixed" in the last two patches I can only assume it won't ever be fixed.
@chairmanpow Hello there. We're sorry to hear this persists. For investigational purposes, we'd like to see if you're able to provide us with a video of the issue persisting after having updated to version 1.1.1.
Quest is still broken for me after the 1.1.1 patch. Sigur and friend just hang around down near the safe house and never come to the long house and won't even talk to me. If I use the bard workaround I can get the door open but it doesn't trigger any event, the longhouse is empty with the exception of a couple of townies milling about. Dead in the water. Did a lot of exploring since I started so my previous reasonable save is about 20 hours back and I am not going back that for.,
@chairmanpow the patch hasn't fixed it for me either. The four thegns have also disappeared now, no where to be found and no marker. Sigurd is just waiting in the bushes and won't speak and no idea where Basim is
Still broken on 1.1.1 for me too, I'm hitting the issue where Sigurd and Basim are just standing useless in the fish house. They will enter combat mode and attack guards, but as soon as combat is resolved they go back to being unresponsive. Entering the fish house never triggers a cutscene that was claimed to be fixed a few patches ago, still totally broken and I can no longer progress in the other regions until I finish this piece of the story.
@hunterorhunted for me they're literally just standing there in the fish house doing absolutely nothing. I don't know how long ago I started doing this mission to reload a save but I'm 120+ hours in and my closest one besides the current one is like 94 hours in and there's no way in hell I'm going back 30 hours worth of completed content to see if I can potentially figure out what the issue is. Been like this since before the update 1.1.1 and I straight up just can not do the mission.
