@mentaltl12 Just had this issue. Try reloading from the Episode Save 1. Loading autosaves weren't working for me until I tried this.

@zackwee - I don't have a load named "Episode Save 1". All my loads after autosaves while in Asgard (and after the bugged mission starts) or manual saves before Asgard, but 2-3 hours behind in progression.

@sportynerdguy - No. Ubisoft has acknowledged the bug, but has not offered a timeline for a fix.

@a-ryan88 That's weird. May have to scroll down a bit but one should be there. If anything, reload all your Asgard saves in hopes of getting a right one.

Can you please fix my game,

I am still stuck in Asgard.
I can’t finish “View Above All”
I can’t leave the map.
I can’t start any world quests.
some of the objectifs are gone.

I am already looking hours for a solutions.

@zackwee - Unfortunately, I've scrolled all the down my saved games list and all of them are Asgard autosaves or one 3 hour old manual save. I've also reloaded all of my Asgard saves to no avail. I'm screwed until Ubi fixes it.

At Asgard, mission View Above All when trying to close the gate by pressing Y nothing happens.
Tried quitting the game, tried teleporting to the middle of the map and returning.
Can't leave Asgard, can't re-use any near progress save.

I managed to fix mine affer hours of trial and error re loading the exclusive quest save, not sure what actually fixed it but do not use a portal to teleport at all, and follow the path straight to the door without fighting.
Noticed most the guys had level 90 suggested but I was at 70, after a few stikes the icon that indicated they were at a higher level went away. Could be an issue with the auto leveling or issue with the DLC content packs from the store I had just gotten an hour before this quest.
I also had 12 unused skill points I apllied after reliadong the save.
Noticed at one point it re showed all the ORDER chsracters as new again, when you press A for details it brings up the confirmation screen for some reason, if you hit A for yes it just closes, press B for No and the character BIO opens you can mark it as read.
After applying all my skill points, working around the BIO bug for the Order, not using a portal, and running straight to the door all on a fresh re load of the save let me progress.

I've managed to sneak around every one because i just get 2 hit killed to the door. I close it, and nothing happens. I load the "quest save" and that just starts the same bugged out quest from the beginning. When are you going to fix this?

Hey, i have try a lot of tips for bugs to close door "Quest asharg" but dosent work. and delete all my load think so im stuck in anhoter world...

hey, i was doing Quest of "fate of the high one" is lyhene Quest name: view above all. i have try to many think to close the gate, its stuck open. and also delete all my load think so im stuck in the anhoter wolrd can't go back....i have try the tip: "find this option, go to: Options > Interface > General Tab > Set “Hold Alternative” to “Off” STILL DOSENT WORK!

and there is cow side quest is bug also can't move anywhere. please fix the bugs. i dont pay 60e for that [censored] all bugs

xbox one x for me. What a [censored]. Nothing that has been mentioned here has helped. AC has for a long time has made saving absolutely redundant when you always start nearby the last place you died. So of course no one is going to be saving anything.

If i sacrifice 8 hours of gameplay. I can exit asgard. But this game is hardly interesting enough to repeat a mind numbingly repetitive process sprinkled with pokies sounds and flashes on the screen. This game is a pokies machine disguised as an rpg.

I got the same problem, my last manual save is 2 days old so that is not an option

The following method worked for me:
1) Loaded the Exclusive Quest save
2) Options > Interface > Hold Alternative On
3) Run in a straight line towards the gate > closed the gate > SUCCESS!!!

DO NOT FIGHT! DO NOT USE THE TELEPORTER!

I opened the door many times, and what now? The quest log is empty.

@guest-mdarzuef i have the same problem, some say you have to change graphic settings before you reach the bridge and itll work, but that doesnt work for me. I cannot play the game cause im stuck ion asgard
