So I was doing the quest as normal, I got to the door and closed it. But it stayed open and there wasnt anything else to do and when I hovered over the quest objectives it said nothing. when I went back and tried closing the door, it didnt close still no matter how many times I tried closing it

Thanks for your latest posts in this thread! I'm replying just to confirm that this issue was resolved in TU 1.1.0, which released on December 15th. I've seen no further reports in this thread of the issue since that update, so I'm very much hoping that the fix worked for everyone!
Should the issue persist for anyone, you're welcome to reply here and let us know. For now though, I'll be moving this megathread to the resolved section of the list!

I am getting to the point where I need to close the door also. After holding the E key to close it, nothing happens. Anyone can provide a fix?

After fighting the giants on the BiFrost in Asgard, I'm prompted to close the door to Jotunheim. However, after holding the button to close it is done, nothing happens.

@keyghostace i have the same problem, and i cant load a saved file to before Asgard either because every autosave is in Asgard..

got the same issue, tried restarting but the save is after the door should be closed dont know what to do now -

After defeating the giants around the door that you are expected to do, i go upp to the door and hold Triangle(PS4) untill the circle close, but after that nothing happens. No cutsceene, no new objective or anything. I am stuck in Asgard because of this, and my previous saved games are all i Asgard, so i cant load any earlier saves before Asgard either. Please fix this!

@teaboxmlg yeah i was hoping to geek valhalla entire night aswell, still got my hopes up tho. Im collecting the wealth stuff and trying to do the mysteries, most which are bugged due to being in a quest scenario hahha

Hi everyone! I'm terribly sorry to hear you're all experiencing an issue with closing the door in order to proceed with this mission! Can you please test out disabling Hold Alternative in your Settings menu and see if you can get the door to close successfully. Please let me know if you find any improvement with this.
