No matter who I select as the traitor Soma keeps killing Birna. That is not who I want to select for this quest so now I'm stuck.

During the stench of treachery mission, when I accuse Galinn as the traitor, the cutscene starts and Sona accuses and kills Birna instead.

Happens for me also. Tried to do it again, but it always happens regardless of how many times I reload the save....

@beardoom I am having the same issue I pick Galinn and she kills birna tried reloading from earlier save but same thing happens! I am on PC

Is there a way to fix this problem? How long for a quick patch? I am stuck in my main story line because she keeps killing lif. I have like 20 hours in the game and don’t want to restart. If this is how story changing quests get bugged and I have to decide to ruin the story or waste a lot of time restarting from scratch. then I am for sure not going to get any additional content. If I paid full price for a game and I can’t even finish the main story then I am going to be very upset.

I'm also having this problem on the Xbox Series X.

@ubi-spud I have tried to upload the video I have taken of it to one of the case files however it doesn't seem to work

Maybe someone knows a way to fix this problem? waiting for a fix from developers is too long.

During the mission Who is the traitor when finally choosing a traitor which is Galinn, Soma keeps killing Lif. I tested picking the others and still Lif gets killed. No amount of reloading or resetting fixes this bug. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same issue and I have reloaded and tried again and each time lif is killed instead of galinn.

After choosing to kill Galinn i said im not sure and missclicked on killing Lif. Now i Cannot kill Galinn anymore. If i choose to kill him it allways kills Lif. On further investigation it appears to be stuck on the person you where about to kill last time and can only be change to a person you were not about to kill. Now I'm stuck on Birna. Unable to continue playing because of this bug.... This appears aparently on PC in my case and ps4 what i was reading on another forum.

Did you try reloading to a save from before accidentally naming Lif as the traitor?

Same problem here. I pick Galinn and she kills Birna instead.

@manfishmccoy i understand the bug too late... if i reload last save 8h backwards in gameplay... autosaves all overwriten

Followup, I have tried the following steps to remedy this issue but Briana is still killed even after selecting Galinn:

• Fast Traveling away and back and talking to Soma.
• Fast Traveling to Norway and back and talking to Soma.
• Quitting to desktop and reloading and talking to Soma.

Of all of these attempts, Soma still kills Brina after selecting Galinn as the one I would like to accuse. @Ubi-Spud are there any other steps I should be doing to try to remedy this issue?
