I don't even know if I'm posting this in the correct section, since these new forums don't even make it clear where feedback is suppose to go.. Let me just start by saying that I acknowledge that most of the game looks amazing overall and really detailed and beautiful, but there are things in this game that wouldn't be acceptable 10 years ago let alone now and people who made it and people who approved of it should be ashamed..

1 - Complete lack of any and all cloth physics

    • We've had a lot of different cloth physics in AC games over the years, always seem to change, never seem to stick around even when they were great such as in Origins, but even the original AC had cloth physics, it was one of the first games where I truly noticed it, I can't rightly say if it's the first but it's one of them for sure. And here we are over a decade later with another AC installment and we have NONE anymore, they just rig it so cloth is attached to a body part and it follows it as it moves, making for horrible looking cloth along with really bad clipping and ofc horrible texture stretching that does no belong in games anymore, hasn't for a long time. I just tried out the Hidden Ones outfit and I couldn't use it for more than 2 minutes, running with it made my eyes actually hurt, just clipping and flopping about like crazy due to it trying to keep up with the legs it's attached to as they are running.. They are suppose to have their own physics, flow with the wind and lift and move in the opposite direction of you and not this garbage..

2 - Various low resolution objects

    • I don't plan on listing all objects that I saw that had low resolution, I'm sure most players have noticed a bunch but we've let it slip cuz whatever not relevant ..But when I saw that dogsh!t of an "Apple of Eden" I couldn't believe my eyes.. [censored] is that, that's gotta be the lowest resolution thing I've seen since 2005, I'm not even joking, how the hell did that get passed in the testing? It's a grey ball with a yellow glow around it and really poorly done yellow glowing lines that are also really low res.. Like come on the original AC was better than this, I literally played it just to check if I was crazy.. Shame on you guys..

    3 - Broken Animations
So there's a bit of this going on, I'm sure eventually it will be fixed ....oh wait Unity had broken animations and they never got fixed ..please tell me you'll fix it this time ....right?

    • I'm sure a lot of other players noticed that sometimes when you're doing an assassination, your enemy throws you on the ground and is about to stab you and then you randomly switch places and you stab them instead, like [censored] is this sh!t? Most animations breaking whenever there's even a slightest variation in elevation between you and your enemy, you end up just beating/cutting the air as limbs start flying off from an enemy that's not even near you. Camera angles bugging up and you just looking at the wall, what happened to the phasing walls and objects when it's in the way, why would you get rid of it, now I just watch a half my screen be a wall and the other half me standing in it as I beat a guy that's half way into the ground to death.. And that forceful camera angle as you assassinate someone that doesn't allow you to move it so you can target another enemy for a chain takedown is also a big problem.

    4 - Miscellaneous

    • There's random small things that irritate me like the fire effect looking worse yet again, Origins had it nailed and you have to fix something that isn't broken and make it worse as usual, like most things mentioned in this post.
    • You walk through a small puddle on the ground and blam you're fully wet head to toe like you just went for a swim.. Nice one guys..
    • Snowflakes are the size of snowballs for some unknown reasons, really looks stup!d when you pay attention to them or are trying to take a nice screenshot in the snowy areas.
    • Parkour half broken, often times I find myself having to wiggle left and right so I can make my character keep moving, he just gets stuck and won't grab onto anything even tho there's plenty of stuff to grab onto, he even does it eventually but you gotta move him a bit left or right, really breaking the flow and fluidity of it all. OFC when you hold B (xbox controller) near short parkour objects, it still does the proper animation and rolls/slides over it, but it also switches your mode between standing and stealth unnecessarily instead of going with whatever mode you were before the roll/slide.
    • Mount not being able to jump down even from 1 foot high places and just running in place like a mor0n and then randomly it jumps off a god damn mountain 10 seconds later, it has no logic and it's really bad that you can't even do simple jumps up or down with small heights like you used to.

    Summary

You're constantly trying to reinvent the wheel, always "fixing" something that's already working fine and it's just making things worse constantly, instead of reusing your already perfectly fine and working assets so you can focus more on the things that need and deserve attention, you waste your time remaking things that are already good and make the rest fall short as a result.. This is a complete oversight from the people in charge and I honestly thought you guys were better than this and that one day you would learn from your past mistakes and stop [censored] up, but I guess I was naive..

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
