    I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to interact with Petra. Would you be able to send us a video that shows the following:

    • You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can check this in the right-hand corner of the main game menu.
    • That you are unable to interact with Petra.


    We can then pass this along to the development team for a closer look.

    well damn, just got the ultimate edition last night to savour the full thing in one go (and with reasonable time until the next expansion releases) and now can't play past 2 hours lol
    running version TU1.3 / in-game 1.4.1.1 and (so far) looks and works gorgeous on maxed out settings but half the controls don't work/show-up anymore. movement/camera and menu controls work but interaction, crouch, attacks don't so basically stuck and can't do anything apart from wandering around. this immediately happened once finished the seer quest and had to head back to the settlement for the literal second time.
    looked all possible fixes, resetting controller/k+m, verifying etc but nothing works. how is this still an issue X__X
    any solutions i could work/must have missed kindly suggest? using a ps4 controller on pc (via egs)

    same. Pretty insane that Ubisoft clima this issue is fixed. I’ve been playing for a while now and just hit a dead end because of this. I can’t advance my story, can’t upgrade gear or my boat, can’t hire new crew. It’s been a horrible experience.

    still not working. Please let us know when this will be resolved. I spent too much money on a broken game. If this isn’t resolved soon I’d really appreciate a refund (and a refund for my in game purchases that are now worthless). Ubisoft, please advise.

    I apologise for the delayed response. I'm sorry to hear that some of you are still unable to interact with NPCs within your settlement.

    To help us to take a closer look at this, would you be able to provide us with a video which shows the following:

    • You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can check this in the bottom right-hand corner of the main game menu.
    • That you are unable to interact with NPCs within the Settlement. If only certain NPCs are affected, please specify which NPCs you are unable to interact with.


    I'd recommend uploading this video to a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, as this will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread we can take a closer look at.

    @aworas - I'm sorry to hear that you're encountering trouble due to your controls no longer working in-game. I'd recommend opening up a new thread about this issue, as this thread is about being unable to interact with Settlement NPCs as there is no prompt available. Creating a new thread will allow us to take a closer look at the issue you've encountered without going off-topic within this thread.

    @nicholashimself - I'm sorry that you're unable to interact with NPCs within your settlement. Would you be able to provide us with a video containing the information requested above? We can then forward this to the dedicated teams for further investigation.

    As we have had no persistent reports of being unable to interact with settlement NPCs since the release of TU 1.2.1, we will now be locking this thread.

    If you encounter any further trouble interacting with settlement NPCs, then please feel welcome to create a new thread and we’ll gladly take a closer look. When creating a new thread, please include any additional images/videos of the issue you’re encountering in-game, as this will be helpful for further investigation.
