This game is borderline unplayable without health regen. Who's the genius at Ubisoft that decided to take it out? I'm out of my ONE ration, and I'm running around with a scratch of health. If someone even comes near me, it's game over. Food, berries, etc are literally nowhere to be found when I need them.
In the middle of a raid, no rations, no health, no food, no berries... So I just have to run away?
What I am supposed to do for the rest of the game? Travel back to my settlement and sleep every time I lose some health?
Taking out health regen is the dumbest decision I've every seen. The game is supposed to be FUN, not a chore.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@ringlercorp
I actually enjoy the challenge. I’m power level 53 and it isn’t a problem yet, just something to manage. First thing I did was upgrade my rations to 3 which helped a lot. Easy to find food and berries to keep at max before a raid or major fight. I have yet to not find atleast some during a raid or exploring. Odin sight usually find me some. I play hardest difficulty and unarmed. Took a little while to get used to though. Makes me smarter and better at combat. I’ve never actually slept in my bed. Sorry you’re having trouble with it and not finding it fun.
@ringlercorp When I heard the news about No Health Regeneration I thought it was asinine. Previous games had it and now it has been removed. While playing it was not that bad. When I received the ability to store more rations it was fine. Then I remembered that this was supposed to be a Full RPG. Most RPGs don't have health regeneration, potions and food heal. In Skyrim I carry many potions and food. That might be why it is not hard for me to deal with. I also play as a Ranged/Archer. I roll and use cover. Enemies don't get near me without receiving an arrow between the eyes. To each their own.
@ringlercorp I like it. But I can carry 3 rations now, seems like more then enough for most activities. Just upgrade it.

The problem with it is the way it is implemented ..... You have to use a full ration whether you only need 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4 ..... Compare that to HZD where you only use a portion of the ration you need instead of all of it at once ..... So with each ration you can recharge 2 or 3 times plus on top of that you also have health potions that you can easily craft as you go mainly by hunting game .....
Regenerating health shouldn't be too easy but it shouldn't be too hard either, here it just needs a better balance and more complexity to the system with is pretty crude and oversimplified IMO

So True. IMO Odyssey got better over time through patches and updates. This is UBIs 3rd RPG. Their still getting the hang of it. It took Bioware and CD Projekt Red a while to rise to the rank of Elite RPG Creators/Designers. Well... maybe not Bioware lol.
Health regan is in the game in a way....you have to find the skill....of course the game not going to be easy when you start....
I think it was a good call with no regen. In AC:O it was far too “cheap” to just run away for a second to heal fully. IMO no regen offers a little bit more difficulty in a game that already has combat that is fairly easy.....
