I am only at 100+ Power, created a few allies, built my camp to lvl 3+ and already a bit overwhelmed by a couple of things that I personally consider to be fundamental flaws of the game.

    1. One thing that bugs the most is a genderless character. Nothing makes sense here. Many of you probably have played Skyrim, and every NPC there not only recognizes your gender but also a race, and that game is fairly ancient. If it was done there, why couldn't it be done here? I want to hear sister or brother instead of "my sibling", this is just stupid. Imagine introducing your sister or brother that way. People will think you odd (putting it softly) and rightfully so. I want to hear he/she. her/his, etc., when NPCs are talking about my character.
    2. You have a choice between 2.5 genders but you only have a female name. Eivor is a female name ONLY. So, for all of you, who has chosen to play a male version, congratulations! You may call your mighty bearded Viking Nancy or Mathilda, makes no difference at all. I pity a Viking family that would name their boy Eivor...

To me personally, these 2 things spoil the entire experience. Ubisoft has a tremendous experience in making quality games, how in hell they manage to screw up on fundamental level...

I also want to address the "Nudity Option". Is that a trolling button? Why is it there if there is no nudity content in the game whatsoever?
I will never understand the fear of female breasts in people, we all suck on them when we are children, and those who love women never stop doing so until the end of their days.

    1. Chopping limbs and heads off is OK...
    2. Following your blade deep into your victims stomach with all the guts displayed is a NORM...
    3. But god forbit to see something absolutely natural such as boobs?

Sex doesn't mean vulgar, these are not synonyms and the game implies sex openly enough to spice it up with a little immersion, I think.
So, we have implied sex scenes, we have nudists, we have Nudity Button and no nudity... MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!
I am absolutely fine without nudity in the game, though, The Witcher 3 made it work nicely, without turning it into a [censored] game and, as far as I remember, without "Nudity Option".
So, what is that option for?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    P.S.
For cry out loud, even the word that populates our world with babies and implied in "loving scenes" is censored here... What is going on?
