Hello all!
@mis-shortee - Thanks for sharing what worked for you! I'm glad you've been able to complete the quest.
@marctapp - The hotfix should automatically be applied to your game as long as your game is fully up-to-date. Are you still unable to receive the letter from the Blacksmith during "Bleeding the Leech" after trying the steps below? Please note that if this issue still persists, the development team are still working on a more permanent solution to resolve this.
Thanks!
@ubi-borealis I followed the steps listed and I still can't progress. But again I don't even see bleeding the leech as an active quest listed in my quest list
@marctapp - Thanks for trying those steps for me. It's possible this may be linked to Bleeding the Leech not appearing in your quest list. In this case, if you haven't already, can you please post in this megathread? This is where we're carrying out the investigation for this further.
Thanks!
Hello all!
Thank you for continuing to share your experiences with "Bleeding the Leech" not appearing after completing "Firing the Arrow" within this thread. Please be assured that these reports have been passed along to the development team for a closer look.
At this moment in time, they are still investigating this further. We don't yet have any new updates to share from the investigation, including an ETA for a resolution. Once we have an new information from the investigation, we will share it within this thread or within the News & Announcements forum, so please keep an eye out in these places for the most up-to-date news.
If you are able to, we would recommend trying to load an earlier save to see if this helps you to start "Bleeding the Leech" correctly.
@UnafraidBigfoot - Hey there! Your wife should be able to keep her current save as long as she creates a manual copy, rather than an autosave. If she doesn't overwrite the manual save, then it should remain intact until she chooses to return to it.
@hybrid_wolf666 - At this moment in time, there's no way to manually restart a quest. We've passed this feedback about the introduction to the development team for a closer look. If this feature is to be added to the game, it will be shared within our News & Announcements forum.
@AHMET861C4N - I'm sorry to hear that this issue is preventing you from accessing more of the story. Once we have any updates to share from the investigation, these will be posted within the forums, so please look out for these.
@marctapp - Hey there! I've reached out to you already in another thread. Thanks for posting within this thread as well. I've passed on the report you shared with me to the development team so they can include this in the investigation.
Thanks all!
Still not fixed this quest showing up as a marker or even on the map on the left top side
Been waiting since November for this to be sorted and nothing
This is still not fixed that blank quest slot is no longer there but I don't have any way to progress and finish London
Hello there!
Thanks for taking the time to share your reports about "Bleeding the Leech" with us. I've passed these along to the development team so they can take a closer look.
The development team are still looking into "Bleeding the Leech" not appearing in the quest log after completing "Firing the Arrow." Currently, we have no new information to share from the investigation. Once we have any new updates to share, these will be posted within this thread and within the News & Announcements forum.
Thank you!
@ubi-borealis Maybe I'm thinking too much like an IT guy but couldn't they just write in a patch the ability to restart a region once it's mid progress. Seems like this would fix most of the issues as alot of them are tied to Lunden
Hello there @marctapp!
As I'm not part of the development team, I would be unable to speculate on what they need to do to implement a fix for "Bleeding the Leech." Once we have more information from the ongoing investigation, we will let you all know within this thread. If you're able to send us a copy of your save file, we'll happily forward it along to the development team for a closer look. If you play on PC/PS4, you can open a support ticket and submit your save as a .zip file. Please let us know your ticket number once you've done this so we can pass it on for you.
Thanks!
I cannot complete Lunden. I did all the subsequent quests, even rescued Sigurt. After talking to him upon his return no other quests appear, no more options at the alliance map either. I tried to go back to London but I cannot do the Leech or the Compass. Overall I cannot progress at all. This is such a disappointment!
@uib123 I'm very sorry to hear about this issue you're having with not being able to start "Bleeding the Leech" or "Smashing the Compass". Please send over a screenshot of your completed and open quest logs, so we can look into this further with you.
Hi,
Will Ubisoft do something about this issue. Nearly half a year passed, but we are still waiting for updates.
This is really frustrating and the worst experience I ever have!!!
@ubi-borealis I actually opened up a ticket several months ago and they told me to follow this forum.
I want to go look and see if there are any updates in the other forum that you previously referenced for me and now it says that I don't have access to it
Ubisoft come on now this is ridiculous nothing from you since November about erke turning up
Please can you send me a link for a refund because this is beyond a joke
Hello there,
I apologise for the delayed response. Thank you for continuing to update this thread with your experiences with "Bleeding the Leech." I would like to provide you all with an update! The development team intends to fix this issue in a future update. At this moment in time, we're unable to provide an ETA for this. As soon as we have more definite information regarding the update, we will share it with you all in this thread. We will also share this information in our News & Announcements forum.
@AHMET861C4N - I apologise for any frustration that has been caused. We hope to have more news to share with your regarding the fix soon.
@marctapp - I'm sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for letting me know you opened up a support ticket. You may not be able to find the older thread, as it has since been merged into this one. Apologies for any confusion caused.
@Joskinmert - If you purchased the game from the Ubisoft Store, you are welcome to open a support ticket to submit a refund request. I would recommend checking our the digital and physical refunds policy prior to opening a request. We are unable to guarantee a refund will be granted if you don't meet the eligible criteria. All requests are investigated on a case-by-case basis, so you are welcome to submit a request if you don't meet these.
Thank you!
Hi @ubi-borealis,
I didn't buy the game from Ubisoft Store and I am not able to play the game but you don't refund me.
However, Ubisoft preparing to launch a new DLC instead of fixing the major problems, so if the company tends to protect our gameplay experience maybe you can give free DLC to those who suffer from the situation.
Meanwhile you can fix those major problems and we can continue to play.
@UbiExcellent @Ubi-Woofer
Hello there @AHMET861C4N,
We are unable to offer refunds for purchases made from another retailer. If you purchased the game from another retailer, you will need to contact them with your refund request.
Any compensation would be the decision of the Assassin's Creed: Valhalla team. The player support team has no influence over this decision.
The development team are planning to fix this quest in a future update. As soon as we have more information about an ETA for this, we will be sure to share this information with you in the forums.
Thanks!
I am so sorry if I am rude, but where is the support? Frankly, I think we support Ubisoft at forums with the opened cases, pictures, and videos to solve the problems, but nothing has changed in the last 6 months.
We are writing to you because eventually, we think that you will share our opinions with the related departments. But if it is not, whom should we share our opinions with? Can you please give me contact info?
@ubi-borealis
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, @AHMET861C4N. I'm sorry to hear that you aren't happy with the support you have received.
As mentioned in my previous post, the development team are planning to resolve this issue in a future update. We are unable to provide an ETA for when this update will be released, as this information has not been confirmed. As soon as we have more information to share regarding the release of the update, we will let you all know within this thread as soon as we are able to.
If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding "Bleeding the Leech," or any other issues you're encountering, please don't hesitate to let us know more. We'll happily take a closer look for you.
Alternatively, you are also welcome to open a support ticket if you'd like to contact a member of the support team. You can do this via the Ubisoft Support website or by starting a live chat.
