Hey there Ubisoft, been a while since I didn't lose my mind to your games!
With the love I have for Odyssey and literally the 0 bugs optimized masterpiece it was (and the poo Origins was) I felt like testing out Valhalla!
    But here's the thing:

I CAN'T RUN IT on my SSD secondary disc.
I read somewhere that you couldn't run Ubisoft games on MSSD (disgusting from your part to be honest, but whatever), but it can't be the case for me because Odyssey's running fine from day 1, never had a problem with that!

Still, I had a similar problem with Origins few months ago: Can't run it except on my hardware disc.
So I can run both Origins and Valhalla on this Hard disc (played V for about 10hrs), but it's not designed to and it gets on my PC's performances (not to mention the poor graphics quality): I bought a fatty SSD for that.
I tried everything you mentioned in the troubleshooting section and all, nothing happens. I tried reinstall the Ubisoft launcher on this SSD in case it was just locating issues, Ubi connect works fine, but still can't launch anything.
Finally, it's the only game in my GeForce control panel that I can't optimize for whatever reason?
I would like to know if it's even possible to do something about it? Kinda makes me angry to be honest (to not say anything worse), to build a Fat expensive PC where Odyssey flies like the wind, and can't even launch another game because it's not handled properly.

Here is my specs just in case (you will see that I could eat V upwhole, so, not the problem):

    • Windows 10 Pro x64bit
    • Intel Cor i7-8700 CPU
    • 3.20 GHz
    • 16.0 GB RAM
    • Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti

Few screenshots to show you what the problem looks like:

Thank you for you time anyway, I hope you get to do something!
I am a mighty fan of this RPG trilogy and this concern is currently destroying my hype for Valhalla, which is sad cause I liked it so far!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I can run it on a secondary disc. I also had issues (mostly sound) but none of those were fixed after moving it to the primary disk. However I know theres plenty of people that was having the same trouble as you and just by moving the game to the primary disk fixed some issues (ex: game not starting)

Yeh, like I said, it worked, but as it's not designed for that, and I'm sure lots of people install it on secondary disc for the same reason, I shouldn't be obliged to launch on the primary disc.
Moreover, I fear that if I do, I'll have problem running later in the game if graphics demand get a bit too high.
