after you meet with Ivarr, you go to ubba and speak with him, it won’t let me talk to him whatsoever I tried reloading and everything.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hey everyone!
I apologise for the delayed update. I'm sorry to see that some of you still encountered issues following the hotfix my colleague Ubi-Woofer mentioned earlier within this thread. Thank you for continuing to update this thread and for sharing your experiences with the issue.
This issue was marked as resolved by the development team following the deployment of TU 1.1.1. If you are still unable to talk to Ubba following this update, please can you provide a video within the thread so we can pass this to the development team for further investigation. Thank you!
Tsarchasm5 - It looks like this thread addresses the missing treasure hoard in Eurvicscire. This issue should also now be resolved with the update of TU 1.1.1. I recently collected the treasure hoard in Eurvicscire myself! If you're still unable to find it, please can you update a more relevant thread (such as the one linked), or open up a new one. Thanks!
I have gotten to the point where I met ubba in the camp near the fast travel dock
A cutscene played where ivar came in, now I cannot proceed. There is a longboat in the path, filled with raiders (not in the WATER). My longboat is at the dock. I cannot speak to ubba again, though my quest tells me to speak to him.
All walkthroughs I have read tell me I must follow him to the next area.
Game is now broken for me
Update: long boat is now no longer in the path (on land) but still cannot talk to ubba
@progamerzlolz
I have the same bug except there was a long ship on the land also, so i reloaded my save and the long ship was gone but still cannot talk to ubba what a joke of a release.
Same here! Completely stuck!
Oh, and the longboat is indeed on the road, between the horses...
I am stuck as well. But mine is after meeting the two slaves that the bandits captured. When the loading screen stops I am still in the longhouse with Dak and Sigur and cant move or turn. Please help!
same here stuck at the same place i have talked to ubba now i was supposed to follow him to the attack but they never got onto the horse i kept waiting and waiting then i decided to restart my game to find myself in need to speak to ubba again but im unable to do so no matter what i try its useless ive even tried changing my pledge in the alliance map and return to the quest later still stuck. (xbox one)
Sons of Ragnar quest bugged when you reach Ubba, character is there on screen highlighted but you can't talk to him, the your unable to continue quest
@lukieboi93 I have the same issue. The cutscene ends and then the all 3 of us are just standing around.
My bf has the same problem! With the boat appearing on the road, then he tried to load, no boat anymore, but he still cannot talk to Ubba
He now tries to load earlier saves, but still ship on the road. He was able to speak with Ubba now, but it is before the quest continues, where the cutscene comes with the young lad needing to go with them to battle. After the cutscene he was able to go forth with the quest, but now the people are not fond of riding forward because there's that dang ship on the road. Let's see how well this goes....
Okay after they spoke all that needed to be spoken on the go, they seemed to want to ride past the ship. Hope it is the end to this bug?
So only advise I can give is to load a save just before you speak to Ubba and the cutscene comes, and hope for the best?
Hope you have a save file from just before, my boyfriend is really obsessed with saving often and having multiple saveslots, and in this case it seemed to save him from the bug
I have been unable to progress the quest sons of ragnar. I have talked to them in town, and went to meet them by the camps at the dock on the road.
I have quit to title screen for hours hoping I can get a random glitch fix doing so.
Sometimes he doesn't even have the quest icon over his head, sometimes he does. Sometimes one of the longboats that should be in the river full of raiders..... is on the path.... full of raiders.
Eitherway I can't talk to ubba and can't progress my game
After talking with Ubba and ivarr I have to meet ubba outside the village,. Quest marker above his head but impossible to start conversation.
(Tried respawing, restarting,...)
Anybody?
@shadowjackal666 bit hard to do when I just over write a save... I don't really go back to older saves, in fact I only just started saving when I started the quest I'm stuck at. Before hand I lost 25 mins of progress because it crashed. I usually just press continue and be on my way
This is still an issue. I have quit to menu and reloaded the save constantly to no avail.
The ship in the road doesn't affect the issue, it comes and goes randomly in the path or to the water with a reload. Doesn't change the fact I can't speak to ubba
I have done so many mysteries, got a level 3 settlement, found heaps of wealth all over and I don't want to lose my progress because these big games are released with bulk bugs
@progamerzlolz Never had an issue with any assassins creed game including Unity but I'm having this weird bug and I dont want to do any other mission before this. Im upset.
Same issue, have tried reloading the save, traveling and returning... Nothing changes.
Upon starting the "Sons of Ragnar" mission, after speaking with the first brother, Ivar, we head over to Ubba and continue with the storyline. After Ubba tells me to look around, he says to then go to the docks to continue. Upon speaking with Ubba, a cutscene start followed by some play dialogue. But almost immediately after we are done talking, the boy and Ivar begin to walk away and i am unable to speak with Ubba to continue the mission.
Please help, I want to continue the game but am afraid of ruining anything else.
