Having issues with this. We boarded the boat with Sigurd, then went to the middle of the sea, and no cut scene out to the animus came up. We're just stuck in the middle of the water with no way to get out or go back or anything. Is making our game unplayable. Help!
@zinco1993
Im at the same point with the same issue. “I’m not allow to continue until the full game is installed”.
how can I fix this?
I’ve uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Both times I get to the point in The Seas of Fate to talk to Sigurd at the docks. When I arrive, a Warning shows up on screen that says “ you may not continue until the game is fully installed. Please wait for assassin‘s creed Valhalla to finish installing and try again.“
I’m playing in version 1.0.2
I got to the point where I'm ready to leave for England and the game said that I can't leave after fully install the game. But I'm already fully installed, I checked for updatess (I'm updated to 1.0.2), reinstalling the game but no luck.
I also notice that there are some problems with the disc (I'm on PS4), my PS4 having some weird noises, sometime its won't launch and said the disc is dirty or damaged and eject the disc out, but this is a brand new disc I just bought and nothing happened to it on the way back. So I switch to Tekken 7 (also a disc) and the game run totally fine, no crashes or weird disc drive noises.
This probably the first time I ever have these problems, all the other games I bought in the past have never have these problems as well. The AC Odyssey and AC Origin discs I bought years ago also never had these problems.
I've read on reddit that Ubisoft advise people to exchange to another physical copy. I'm going to ask the store that I bought the game from if I can exchange for another copy, with any luck I'll see if that fix the problems
When I approach Sigurd it says the game has not finished installing. I originally played the game for 5 hours did everything and got stuck at seer solace and restarted due no to answer on when it will be fixed and I replay the entire area re collecting everything only to get stuck here.
When can we expect a fix to this because I am not restarting again its ridiculous that this game has so many progression bugs and no answer on when we can expect fixes to this.
When can we expect a fix to this
I'm getting a warning about the game not being fully installed and cannot continue or start the seas of fate quest by talking to Sigurd this is on ps4. Its really demoralizing because I already restored once due to the seers quest bug and now this. Can we expect a fix on these issues any time soon? Is there a work around for this bug?
I'm having the exact same problem myself, on a physical PS4 disc
@zinco1993 I'm pretty sure the problem is with the disc I bought, it is a US version game on ps4 I know couple of people also got the same problem on ps4 ... the disc crushes, do noises and eject itself sometimes.I reinstalled the game 3 times still nothing change. So, I bought the game online from the playstation store (I bought the game 2 times) and worked totally fine I'm now in England. Ubisoft did you send us uncompleted game??
Hello everyone,
The dev team have been made aware of this and are currently investigating.
To help with the investigation, the dev team are collecting save files from PC and PS4 players. Can you contact us via Facebook PM or Twitter DM to submit these to us, or else in a support case or live chat? Thank you!
Got the same exact issue on PS4 I cannot continue due to the not full game on disc I have the disc version of Valhalla and seens like it’s not full as it shows me by the mission Seas Of Fate warning that game is still installing and to try again later but the game is install already so hope Ubisoft will release new update ASAP fixing this problem paying for the game which you can’t even play properly I am stuck like 3 days in the same spot tried to rebuild ps4 database spoke with the dice guy declined he’s game and still showing the same when I am coming back to Sigurd to talk that game is still installing.. Please Ubisoft fix this
Yes I am stuck on the same quest just instead of the boat where you guys a stuck I am stuck by the docks when I need to speak with Sigurd it tells me ‘’Warning you may not continue because the game is still installing please try again later’’ and I can’t continue the story because of this bug..that’s on PS4
I've had the game for about a week now and can't move past The Seas of Fate into the proper game because the game is telling me my game is not fully installed. I'm playing on a physical PS4 copy. Have opened up a case with Ubisoft Support but they have done [censored] all to assist me. I know there's a bunch of other people on here with the same issue.
Ubisoft Support told me I should return my game to my store and get another copy (like it's the fault of my local video game store). Not only is that not possible (I didn't buy at a big brand retailer but my local game shop because I want to support my local business') but then they basically told me the problem "is out of their hands". What a crock. Fix the game and do what is right by your customers who purchased this game. This is ridiculous. What a way to treat your fans, never again.
Whoaaa that’s my exact experience, I had the game bout to be a week and can’t pass the same mission to speak to sigurd everyone just waiting around while I get that install error. I bought it from a small business. This is not their fault. The game is brand new, I’m waiting for a dam_n PATCH! AND I BETTER GET THE SEASON PASS NO FKN EXCUSES!!
Same story here have this game from the launch and waiting nearly 4 days for the new fupdate to come out keep pressing check for updates on the game but nothing coming up
@disla12 It's insane that their recommendation is to go and replace their game with another copy until it works. It's insane that they think this is a viable fix. They basically told me, go buy another copy or "You didn't buy it from us so we cannot help you at the moment".
Yeh I just want them to tell us if this is fixible or we can just get refunded and move on
@agnelis PREACH. This is a turning point for me, I've been an AC fan since the very first game. But between this fiasco (something I never really experienced with Odyssey (which also had tons of launch issues) and all the turmoil internally (about how Ubisoft treats its employees) I really don't think I can support Ubisoft after this.
