I have Valhalla on Ps4, digital version. Game will not proceed past the The seas of fate mission. Will not allow me to speak to Sigurd etc. Any fix to this yet?

so it's issue with the game then

I am playing on a standard ps4 using a disc copy of the game. My PS4 tells me that the game is fully installed but when I go to speak to Sigurd at the docks, I am told " warning - you may not continue until the game is fully installed'. Please sort this!

mine is ps4 original, and i have a digital copy of the game.
also I checked my storage and I did download the whole 45 GB.

edit: oh hey I just tried it again and now I can start the quest!

what the title says. I get in the boat and it sets sail, once I come out of the cove the boat drops the sail and they take their oars out and just sit there. Nothing else happens. Have tried verifying the game, uninstalling and reinstalling, loading an older save, nothing has worked.

@luciusdecimus I have the same problem. The ship stay, at the dock and nothing happens. I do not know what to do.

I dont know why i got that bug.
In misson the sea of fate. I cant speak to sigurs at the dock.
Is anyone got that bug

^ This is at the end of The Seas of Fate quest, where its supposed to load the AC logo and then go to England.

The mission "Seas of Fate" has a bug when you enter in the boat going to England, the cutscene appear but the boat doesnt move and the game is with blurry graphics seems to have no high res texture
Everything is on very high all driver atualized, already reinstall the game nothing work.

I am stuck in the game on PC. As we set sail to England. The quest is Seas of Fate and there's a long conversation after boarding the longship to sail to England and then, nothing happens. The ship just sits there, at the dock. Nothing happens, no buttons can be pressed.

Same on PS4 none of the "tricks" worked for me, Gunnar is on the ship, I tried talking to him, but nothing.

@deathisgod i am having the samae issue game is totally broken ive tried every way to get past it managed to glitches the boat to rangnarssons and cant proceed any further then there

@deathisgod so I got same problem guys and just try go to properties in your ubisoft connect, local files and under that >verifiy files, it take some time, and after that it tells you that multiple files was corrupted and for me it was 4+- gb downloaded, now its ok

Finished the first part of the story, and I'm about to sail to England. When I go on board and click Y to sit down, game keeps going on (I can move the camera) but nothing happens no matter how long I wait. Tried this in super high, medium and low graphics, also with male and female Eivor, also loading an older savegame and getting there again. Game is updated, graphic drivers too (got a GTX 1080)

Same issue for me. Unable to play further. Its like we are waiting for others to board !?!

Was just able to fix mine. I'm on Ps4, digital copy. I deleted and reinstalled game. I did not delete my save cache as I was into the game a good little ways with exploring. When the game finished downloading and said I was good to play I went back to Sigurd and was still getting the, "your game isn't fully downloaded" message. Went to homescreen on Ps4 and clicked on Valhalla with options button and then to info. Seems the download was not complete and continued to stop downloading as I watched it. It was around 26 GBs when I found it frozen. I switched wifi bandwidths a couple of times and disconnected and reconnected a few times to get it to completed status. I'm now able to speak to Sigurd. Hope this helps.

Can't progress story on PC after entering longboat for Seas of Fate. Crew of the boat is dead (have opened earlier saves and played forward, have fast traveled around the map a few times before and after various cutscenes, no change). This is very similar to having my Odyssey game broken by a dead Socrates anbd having to restart after 60+ hours (thanks for that one too Ubi, with the "not our problem, just reset your game" answer to my tickets.) Really piqued to see this happening again in the next game.

Boat will leave the dock with one crewmember rowing, gets a bit out into the ocean, and then drops sail and sits there. Game softlocks and have to quit to title menu.

Looks like this issue has been reported for almost a week.

3 dead crew, one floating/swimming? Nothing else happens. Repeated about a dozen times now.
