@axeljbbb try to kill guard of harald b4 u speak with sigurd in dock. u should have diffrent cutscene and then sit on boat

I just did what you suggest me, but the Warning message still appears. It seems to be a problem in this zone before sailing and talking to Sigurd. I try to talk to him but it don’t allow me.
I killed the guard but nothing changed.

I actually found a workaround for the problem.
Immediately after the cinematic with sigurd and his father ends, I quicksave before one of the two allies underground could die.
When I reloaded that's save everybody were in the boats and now one of the kind guards were underground instead and the ships took off as intended.

@ubi-baron so far I've encountered no more problems using the graphics settings I had been previously, at least in terms of the game actually progressing properly.

Its a bug a thousand of poeple are touched...

Ubi knows the problem since 3 days, and nothings change.

Someplayer are stuck at the dock, some others in the middle of the lake, and cannot continue to play...

There are two problems in the same quest, some are stuck at the dock, some in the middle of the lake... The game cannot load the rest of the game, and block the progression...

@khyrena for me its when I board the boat and you just never push off the dock

I filmed what happens to me when I try to do this mission.

@ubi-baron this hasn't worked for us so far on our PS4. The workaround didn't work either, went to play dice, said no, went to the boat, same result

@elias_newton I'm seeing this exact behavior as well. I have tried talking to the blacksmith and the Orlog guy before boarding the boat, but the result is always the same, the boat never undocks. I'm playing on PC.

Same problem on Xbox one X, the boat is stuck in the middle of the lake, cant continue the game...

Im on ps4 and can't start the quest either. when I go near Sigurd to talk to him the warning saying that i didn't complete the installation shows up and unable to interact.
I tried to reinstall it and noticed I could only download 15GB of the game while the whole game is 45GB. maybe that's what causing the problem??

I'm also having the same problem on pc, when I go sit down on the boat my there is a black screen with someone speaking then the boat just sits in the dock. I've tried talking to the blacksmith and upgrading a weapon and turning down the graphics, I'll try reinstalling the game maybe that will work.

well if it helps anyone else, i decided to just start a new game and rush through all the missions to get back to where the bug occurs, i turned down ALL my graphics settings to low once i reached the sea of fates mission. IT WORKED! so im guessing something during gameplay bugs this mission. starting a new game is hugely frustrating though cause of all the unskipable cut scenes and losing progress from exploring but atleast im in england now!
took me roughly 30mins to get back to the sea of fates mission rushing through everything smashing space bar to skip what i could in cutscenes etc.
