Shield alone can dictate the sound of foot falls

Just got the set that is free with Twitch Prime (Prime Gaming). The set is Bear, but the shield is Raven. Sense the armor set the shield is part of is heavy, even equiping justt he shield makes your foot falls sound like metal hitting ground instead of the fur set your wearing.
Shield, any even if part of a set should have zero effect on the sound of your foot falls. -
