Just started. First section in the gathering hall, no ones voice can be heard, no dialog in closed caption either. Checked settings and rebooted. I am shocked that I have not seen this reported yet. No one else is having this issue? I hear music, sounds, laughter, etc... but when people are talking to the boy with the horseshoe, you cannot hear them talk.

@guest-zxlwrc0i I have been having the same issue. When I look in audio settings under voice language, it almost looks like the audio pack needs to be downloaded. When I click on it though it just says the download is suspended and won't do anything

Hi, I am having the same problem as well. Re-installing the game does not help either. No dialogue nor substitle at the beginning of the game. Has anyone found a solution to this?

Ya I just got it in the mail. Updated it went to go play it, and I [censored] i was trippin. Im kinda upset really, im a big fan, and now I refuse to play it. And it doesn't stop after the opening either.

Had the same issue with Miles Morales so realised it must be a PS5 thing rather than a game thing.

I’ve worked out the issue. The PS5 sound settings can see my surround sound, but thinks it is 7.1 rather then 5.1. The voices were through the 2 unavailable channels.
And I had also had to change the audio format to Dolby rather than PCM.

@tfo5000 Thanks! This fix worked for me on PS5. I don't have a surround sound, but the PS5 was defaulting to 7.1 ch, I wasn't able to edit this setting, but I changed the Audio Format to Bitstream (Dolby) rather than PCM and this fixed this issue! Thanks again

I've had this game since launch and the dialogue does not work idk what to do I tried re installing it but it didn't work. Still no audio what should I do?

@guest-zxlwrc0i Same thing for me, I tried to play it through a bit to see if the dialogue may come through. Nothing worked. I changed my audio settings on both my tv and xbox to everything I could try but nothing worked. It also never seemed to work on my headphones. The audio pack also comes up with the same downloading thing that says suspended for me when I click on any language.

Has anyone managed to get a fix? I have tried changing to audio uncompressed on my Xbox but still no dialogue.

They still haven’t fixed it, I have changed all audio settings in Xbox one, headset, sound bar, nothing works. You would think after a month they would sort this out. Looks like they rushed the release for Xmas

I just got it. No dialogue, no captions. Nothing. I check all my audio settings and crap. But nothing. Its heckin annoying and I really hope this is just a bug that they'll be fixing soon

Exactly the same here. Can't update voice packs, tried all settings on Xbox Audio and makes no difference. Another cobbled together release, as an adventure game without audio/subs is pretty much uselss.

Hey guys I managed to fix it on Xbox one after a long time of messing with audio settings :). You need to go to the Xbox audio settings and change optical audio to “bitstream out” and change bitstream format to “Dolby digital”
that worked for me, hope this helps you guys out
