Refering from the mystery event: "The old man of the mountain", you seem to know what you are doing. The first game in the series, was about just that lunatic.
What i dont know is why the game is created from a multikultural team, where multikulturel is "THE NO GO", as the old man of the mountains idea, was, to convince any, to kill his political enemies, for a place in heaven. -

Currently it seems like the Creed is basically about 'Government and men bad'. -
@tengal if you paid attention at the first modern Day scene and the audio logs for example, you would know what the Creed is actually about AND that even the Assassins themselves start to question it because some rules are not too clear to follow.
