Reaccuring NPC no movement bug

It appears on missions where you are asked to follow an NPC, if you interact with Berry bushes, Loot, locked doors, or picking up keys.
The NPC will stop moving at a location where they are either meant to interact with another NPC or something else in the quest is meant to be triggered. Only way to resolve this is by loading a save before you did the action that froze the NPC - Game restart and reloding saves where the action was already tken will not resolve this.
