Frequent instances of not being able to bring up a forum thread due to my mouse cursor not functioning (e.g. hover the cursor over what "should" link me to the OP and the cursor does not chnage from an arrow to a finger pointing; clicking on the OP link anyway frequently takes me to a totally unrelated area of the ACV Forum). 😖 Granted; this Forum is a Beta----but it is VERY squirrely in it's functioning.

Zeroing everyone's forum posts (across all Ubi game forums) here is "disheartening" to say the least. 👎

Much better (wider) selection of smilies! 👌

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hey @Flanker1Six - I sincerely apologise that your thread did not receive a reply until now. Thank you for having taken the time to reach out to us with your feedback about our new beta forums!

Regarding the first issue you raised, is this still an ongoing issue at this time? Would it be possible for you to record your screen to show an instance of this if so? If you are unsure how to capture your screen, if you have Xbox Game Bar on your PC, this is one tool you can use to record your browser window. 🙂

In terms of us "zeroing" everyone's posts - these new forums are a fresh start for everyone, and as such, no content is being transitioned over. This includes posts, threads, reputation history or otherwise. I apologise if this is discouraging or disappointing, but hope that you'll enjoy the opportunity to make a fresh start here nonetheless.

Finally - I, too, am pleased that I can finally represent myself fully in emoji! 🐶

Hi Woofer, that is quite disturbing that content on the old forums are not being transferred to this forum.

How are players supposed to receive support on topics raised in the old forums if they are not transferred over? Surely that makes it difficult for the players to know if issues within games are being addressed or not?!

Also, doesn't having a 'fresh start' on this forum make it harder for Ubi staff to track player support requests?

i urge the forum managers to reconsider this decision immediately because it is simply unfair on players who aren't active on the forums enough to know that a new forum has been launched and has gone live.

    Hey there @A1R50FT-10,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on this with us. While each brand will continue to have a fresh start on this new Discussions platform, I'd like to reassure you that we're committed to minimising disruption as best we can.

Before a brand is moved over to Discussions, we have been making an effort to reply to as many recent support requests as possible in order to minimise any possible impact on players seeking our assistance. We've been able to follow up both here on the new platform as well as privately if needed. In terms of issues being addressed, we'll continue to post patch notes and other announcements in the new News & Announcements sections for each brand here on Discussions, so there should be no break in communication in that sense.

We have a read announcement banner that mentions the move in each of the transferred brands, and those older brand forums are now locked for posting, on the older forums as well. This directs players to the new platform and should help to minimise any confusion.

I appreciate you sharing your concerns with us, and please let me know if there's anything else that I can help with.
