So I noticed a bug with the horse and follow road to quest/custom marker while discovering the syncronize eagle NW of Florli. After I discovered the syncronize location I decided to take to road north of the syncronize location back to Florli. After looking at the map and seeing the road led all the way back to Florli. Instead of running back down the mountain thru the mountain passes like I did coming up. When I called my horse and hoped on and told my horse to take me to the custom marker I made at Florli so I could talk to Sigurd to start the quest A Cruel Destiny I was told there was no way to that destination. I was like okay weird the map shows a road going there and decided to just use follow the road method until I found where follow the road stopped working and forced me to turn around. When I was almost to Florli using the follow the road ability on the horse I came to a stream the forced my horse to turn around. Even though the stream is only ankle high or for a horse hoof high that my horse couldn't cross and had turn around and auto follow the road back the way he came. So I manually stopped and him and walked him across the stream. Once on the other side of the stream I used follow the road and pressed triangle to go to custom destination and it worked fine from there. Basically streams or even shallow rivers could be stopping you from using auto follow the road to custom/quest markers all because the stream cuts thru the road. If you want to test this yourself it is the river west of Florli that turns into a stream a little NE before it runs into the road. The river begins at the lake E of the synchronization eagle that is NW of Florli. It isn't a major bug and may not get fixed. But if you are ever wondering why you can't follow the road to a custom/quest marker look for a river/stream on the map that could be going thru the road and making the follow the road function not work in that spot; because the follow the road AI is reading that spot as if the road ends at that stream even though the road continues on going to your destination. Easy fix for now until Ubisoft does or doesn't fix this little glitch is just to set a custom marker before the stream and manually ride across the stream. Once on the other side auto follow the road to custom/quest marker unless you have another stream in the way and then just rinse and repeat until you are there or you could just ride your horse there manually as well. Just wanted to put this out here so Ubisoft knows about it and also so that other players know about it. Even though it isn't a game breaking bug just a possibly annoying bug depending on high you play. And sorry for the long post I wanted to be as detailed as I could for incase someone else wants to test this or for if Ubisoft decides to fix the glitch.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
