There's a nudist camp that has a side quest to it in Grantebridgescire where you have to steal a box of their clothes to help this guy get back into the group, and it won't let me finish the quest.

My process after obtaining the quest: I talked to the lady at the camp, asked her how to join, she told me about the clothes box. I stole the clothes box, ran away with it without getting into a fight. Went back up the hill to talk to the guy, he wouldn't let me talk to him, he was just standing there motionless with zero options. So I tried to throw the box off the cliff into the water below, I figured that the box might have to be damaged or gone or something, that didn't work. So I came to the conclusion that this was a bug I was dealing with, I left the area, went to do some other things hoping that in the meantime the bug will mechanically work itself out. Went back to the place, the lady at the camp now had the same dialogue options as if I had never stolen the box, but the box itself isn't there anymore, and the guy that gives the quest still refused to talk to me. Couldn't find the box of clothes in the water either, it has despawned from my game. I decided to go do other things in game and give this quest a try again the next day, maybe a reset would fix it I was guessing. Tried it again today, same thing, lady gives options as if I never stole the box and the guy that I have to talk to to complete the quest will not talk to me.

I'm reporting this from PC, I don't know if any other platforms are experiencing this same issue. I'm doing map cleanup in East Anglia and Grantebridgescire right now and I've only gained allies in three regions so far so it'll be a little while before not being able to complete this quest starts to really get annoying and unsightly but I'd like to finish the quest sooner rather than later.

After failing to grab the box, I threw it on the torch thinking it would burn and complete the quest, but it didn't and the NPC became hostile. So after leaving the area did a few collectibles and rebooted my game, I went back to the nudist camp and the clothing box is no longer there.

Attempted to reboot, talked with the NPC but the clothing box is no longer present. Unable to complete the mystery.

Steps:
1.Talk with the quest giver.
2.Proceed tot he nudist camp.
3.Pick up the box with the clothes.
4.Throw it on the torch.
5.Have the NPC hostile.
6.Leave the area.
7.Complete a couple of collectible.
8.Relaunch the application (unsure if this step affected the issue)
9.Return to the nudist camp.
10.Observe missing box of clothing.

@jimmyly91 Having the same issues. Fell into the water when carrying the box and couldn't pick it up, left the area, came back and everything reset except for the box.

While doing the Nudist Quest i dropped the box with their clothes in the water, i couldnt pick it up after and it despawned after leaving the area. So i cannot interact with this box anymore and therefore not complete the Quest.

Same issue here. Talked to the NPC, lost the box, restarted the game, talked to the NPC again and the box is now missing. Any help is appreciated.

I have encountered a bug which renders the nudist colony mystery unsolvable.

I went down and spoke with the lady and accidentally pulled a SoulsBorne and killed her. I then picked up the box of clothes and threw it into the lake, as that is what I thought the guy wanted me to do. I then watched the clothes box fall through the map on the bottom of the lake.

I then took my clothes off and got caught in a loop of "dancing" with the nudists which ate up all of my autosaves and I could not load an earlier save.

I kind of bumbled into a bunch of weird things with this sidequest and it bugged out. I cannot get the box of clothes to reappear so that I may turn it in. I've gone to Norway and back, brought hordes of wolves to kill the questgiver, nothing works! Need Help!

I have the same problem,the crate does not appear anymore!

Currently i m doing a mystery where you have to steal the cloth from a nudist group in Grantebridgescire. However the chest with cloths are not in my game. And i watched gameplay on youtube where the Chest is because i was losing my mind, but its not in my game. I restarted the game, reloaded the saves, nothing works. i will add a screenshot showing that there is no box with cloths in my game.

After speaking to Winchell and then talking to the woman at the nudist event no crate appears. I traveled back to Norway to see if it would fix it but it did not work.

No way to progress into the nudist quest, I tried to deliver the chest to the NPC and there was not an option to talk to him, I threw the box from the cliff thinking it was going to solve, it didn't. Now it's like I never picked up the box. I tried to talk to the female nudist npc by the lake and the box still won't appear, neither the dialog with the quest giver. Quest is broke.

Dropped the box of clothes at the feet of the NPC and nothing happened. Saved and reloaded, the box disappeared completely (not where I dropped it and not in the nudist camp). Can't complete this mystery.

i had the same issue, the box respawned in the camp again. Mine was on Xbox series S

Same thing happened to me on PC box dissapeared and wont respawn, can't complete it...

World event where the guy wants you to steal all the nudist's clothes, the lady says there is a crate to put my clothes by the tent. There is no crate. I've fast traveled back to home base and went back to this world event and there is still no crate to steal the clothes from. This a glitch?

For me I have the crate but when i take it back to winchell I can't interact with him ...
These world event are buugged as hell and some really are not explicit about what to do ...

I've picked up the crate of clothes, ran back to the guy, then he got bugged out so I couldn't speak to him. I put the crate down for a minute to try and fix him, fast traveled away and came back and now the crate has gone... So now I can't finish the mission. Looked everywhere, fast travelled back and to, changed genders, everything. Please help!! Don't wanna have to start everything again to get the completioniat trophy when I've put 30 hours into it already!!

@j-dog328 Don't know if this could help you but when i did it my crate fell into water and couldn't reach it anymore, i just run back to the nudists outpost and the crate was back there. Try to reload or fast travel or even change Eivor's gender and see if the crate goes back where it was.

Edit : btw on which platform are you playing ACV?

I have the same issue. Made a support ticket. No idea how they will fix this, I'm almost crying man, I was ready to go for completionist, then this [censored] happens...

The quest " im not like other nudists" in Grantebridgescire wont let me continue after talking with the guy on the cliff, I go down to steal they're clothes and there is no box for me to steal the 1st time I did the quest I had the box but I fell in the water and I think it glitches bc now the box won't show up anywhere, I even left the area and fast traveled to Norway and came back but still the quest cant be completed ANY HELP PLEASE!?!?!?
